The show is terrific, it's just how I remembered it. This is my second time buying this on dvd as I had loaned the set to someone before and never saw it again. The last copy was in the fold out cardboard holder, this one is in a hard plastic, regular sized dvd case with trays for each individual disc. They use enough discs to make sure there is no issues with compression etc. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys edgy, but funny, comedy. Dave is at his peak in this show. It's always fun to revisit this show from time to time. Especially after watching one of his phenomenal stand up specials. Yes, get this, and get this now. The price is right and the product is well packaged.

I loved The Dave Chapelle Show when it aired.I was recently watching Mind of Mencia, another great comedy central show from the 00s and got nostalgic for The Dave Chapelle Show, too. I lent someone the dvd's and never got them back. I had purchased each season separately and I think they got me for $30 for each of them 10+ years ago. This has both seasons and the "lost season" which I hadn't seen most of (apparently un-aired segments and things from a 3rd season that was never finished) which was a pleasant surprise. It's 6 discs in a nice, compact plastic case (it's one of those that's the size of a thick dvd case but they make it so the disc each have their own holder) and absolutely everything that was in the original dvd releases (special features, commentary, etc) is here. None of the sketches are changed or altered from the old dvd releases (more and more stuff gets released censored lately).All your favorites are here - mine are the Tyrone Biggums and Charlie Murphy sketches. There's some great stuff. There's also a lot I didn't remember, including some pretty dull sketches (hip-hop endorsements springs to mind) and some that are honestly probably swipes of some other comedians bits I was only familiar with later (mostly blue collar comedy guy stuff, some MadTV sketches, and Chris Rock Show bits). A lot of the comedy is dated or not as funny as I remember and they had too much hip hop music that honestly annoys me that I didn't remember at all, but I'm really just rating the set. It kind of feels like watching "Seinfeld" to me now. You probably already know if you like the show or not. This set is $15 and has all the tv stuff and is good quality and legitimate, not a bootleg or something.Recommended if you like the show and don't have it - or are purchasing again.

I loved Dave Chappelle growing up. I always thought the was the best comedian alive, and still believe that to this day. His show was ground-breaking and I remember staying up late to watch it on Comedy Central. While I like his new stuff on Netflix, I was yearning to see his old stuff as I feel it is much better. Of course, I open my Amazon app and found this in five minutes. The quality is great and there are some funny outtakes as well. Great show!

Hilarious! Wish they would of made more episodes tho.. still funny and worth watching.

I was a little skeptical about this set because of the fantastic price... but it turned out to be exactly what I wanted. It IS the entire series in one box set, exactly as described and no knock-offs. My fiance' and I sat down and watched the whole thing over the weekend that we bought it. If you've never seen any of the episodes, or missed a lot of them, I would highly recommend it (it IS kind of crass and definitely not for kids though). Not all of the episodes hold up today after so many years, but the gems in the series make it well worth the price.
