Update: downgrade from five to 4 stars. It’s been about 6 months and the battery went dead. The real issue is the work required to change the battery. You have to remove 3 very small screws in the back of the unit to replace. Needed to buy a screwdriver small enough, then find a battery to fit and finally try not to lose the screws in the process. The good news is, i didn’t have to program the remote again. Worked as soon as I put in the new battery.—————-The trick to programming is to make sure the front of new remote is facing front of current remote. Once you have that down, it’s relatively easy. I tried a few times on the first remote, but it didn’t work. Since the directions said it would take a couple of attempts, I didn’t think anything of it. Read a few reviews and once I tried facing them directly, got both programmed on first attempt. Seller should think about adding that little, but very important detail. They work great, feel sturdy and now I have extra remotes in a compact size that fits in your pocket.

This was way easier to sync with my garage door than I thought it was going to be. The first remote did take me a couple of tries to get it to synce but not more than 3 times, make sure you put the front of your remote to the front of the key chain remote, the transmitters have to be facing each other to work properly. The down side is, the factory battery this comes with sucks. Mine worked for 2 uses then died. It is an uncommon looking battery so I need to track down a replacement at a hardware or battery store. I at least hope it’s the battery and nothing more major wrong with the remote.

I give the remotes 5 stars for working. But I knock 2 stars off for programming them. I ended up having to resort to youtube to get them to work. The instructions just weren't clear enough.

These work very well once you get them programmed. Took forever to get the first one programmed. Once I finally figured it out ( was about to pack them up for a return) the other 3 I bought programmed in minutes! They are very well made, actually better than the OEM remote that came with my Sears opener.

These remotes did not pair with my garage door. I contacted support multiple times, and even sent pictures of my garage opener and the same directions were given every time and executed exactly as directed. Absolutely, No luck. I would return but it was too much of a headache as I live in Canada and I’d have to drive across the border.

I bought this item so I could go on bicycle rides and park my bike in the garage without carrying around my car remote and potentially losing it.The item seems to be of good quality. It has a sturdy feel to it without being bulky or heavy. The chain and clasp appear to be reliable, so I have no fear of it breaking. I love the protective cover for the buttons. It clicks into place, so you arent left wondering if it will accidentally open and expose the buttons.The only issue was the programming. It took a few tries (the manual tells you that it might be necessary) before I was successful. I had to unplug the garage door unit while pairing the keychain to the car remote to keep the door from opening and closing repeatedly while programming. Once the keychain is paired to the car remote, it has to be paired to the garage door opener. Its a simple process, so dont let the steps scare you.Highly recommended.

We decided to keep our original opener in the house and wanted something smaller and easier to conceal so we bought this product. So far we’ve been using it for about two weeks and it’s been working fine. The process of initially syncing it with the garage door opener was a bit complicated and time consuming.

Would like to know if any one got the other function to program like the light and lock functions.The unit works great with the lift-master door opener i have as an opener.Is there any more in depth instruction on the web.
