Love the product, but every time we order it, the cap arrives broken off the top. It's always wrapped in protective material, so I'm assuming this is a known issue and done to prevent leaking. This seems to be a shipping/packaging problem rather than a product issue. Overall, it's a great product and will continue to order even with the packing issues.

I have 2B fine wavy hair and I am trying to find hair products that aren’t to heavy and make my hair heavy and oily. This is gentle and really light so it cleanses my hair enough for my oily roots and helps with my root volume which is so nice. Still keeping the ends moisturized and wavy but not heavy. 10/10 👏

This is the only shampoo and conditioner I use for my curly hair. It works great, no more dryness and no more tangles and you only need to use a little bit of each. The price is excellent compared to Salon products

It's a good formula and it smells good that's a plus, but it does weigh down your curls a little at the start but as i started using it more my hair got noticeably curlier and got more volume which i struggle with. Only reason it's not getting a five is because of the weighing down in the start and how the conditioner is a bit hard to detangle with.

This shampoo and conditioner helped my curls really pop. Leaves my hair feeling soft and would recommend using the styling products as well.

I have 2A hair, very thick, dense, fine hair, and I wanted to try the curly girl method to get some wave in there. I bought this because it was highly recommended. I have to say, the shampoo cleansed well and the conditioner smells very light and lovely. I also thought my hair looked shinier than it has in a long time, which was nice. But for the bad news... With hair as dense as mine, I am used to losing some every shower. But when I used this shampoo, I lost at least twice as much as normal, if not more. And it would come out three or four times the amount it normally does when I brushed it. At first I thought it was maybe an adjustment period from using a new and more natural shampoo, but after the third wash, I was still getting massive hair loss. Speaking of brushing, my hair has become so difficult to brush. I have fine hair and never used to have an issue brushing it, but since I started using this shampoo, I struggle to get a brush through it. I also found that, no matter how thoroughly I tried to rinse my hair, I would always find shampoo stuck in there, thickening up in my hair as it dried and I would have to rinse it out again. I also tried to use the conditioner as a leave-in one time, and it left a residue in my hair, though nothing would come away on my hands. It just felt weird to touch. Though this seems like a great product for a lot of women, this shampoo was not for me and it might not be for any other ladies with thick, dense hair like mine.

This order was a gift for a friend with colored hair and beautiful curls. They chose it, not I. Delivery was smooth. As they have a lock box in their apartment building. A picture was shared with me of the successfully delivered item. That I then shared with them.

It smells amazing and the scent lingers on your hair even after showering but maybe it’s because I do the shampoo and conditioner combo. I love their products such affordable curly girl approved products. This curly line is 10/10 highly recommend, I preach about Not Your Mother’s products to all my friends. Specially about this shampoo, it lasted me almost a full year, I bought it December 2024 and ran out mid November 2025 (I shampoo about 2-3 times a week). And the conditioner is still about 25% full still, but likely because I use a separate deep conditioner to combo with it sometimes.

The shampoo made my scalp sooooo so itchy i struggle so bad whenever i use it and it makes my scalp gets oily so fast ,it didn’t work for me at all And the conditioner smells bad and if you use it as a leave-in it wouldn’t give you any volume It also arrived damaged I would NOT recommend

Ok. I have been looking for products to bring back my curl and nothing , literally nothing worked until I tried not your mother. I don’t want to jinx it because I just started using it and I’m not sure if it will keep doing this AMAZING effect that I’m getting but so far it’s been 2 weeks; I’m in love with their product. My curls are back. I’m praying it continues giving me this nice effect.

Ya había utilizado el shampoo, fue muy difícil encontrarlo aquí en mi localidad. Lo recomiendo, llego en tiempo y bien empaquetado Lo único es que su precio si está muy elavado
