Five Stars
This is an excellent net sold at good value. Betts has sturdier and faster sinking nets but the Tyzak gets the job done. If you're just learning or throw in medium depth water where snags such as oyster rakes can quickly shorten the life of your net, then this net is for you. Sinks reasonably quickly and is well made. Quick ship and attractive pricing.

Great nets. I never had any problem and alway do really well catching bait. Dont worry about it not comeing in the utility box. You will never be able to get them back in. 4ft and some 6foot nets come with them and you best bet is to take them out and put them in a 5 gallon bucket.

Seems nice enough but picture is misleading...
Received my order promptly and was able to try it a couple times. Seems to throw well enough, I definitely need to practice a bunch more.Product photo is misleading. My 4' cast net DID NOT COME IN A BOX. Just a cheap vinyl bag with two snaps. Do not select this over some other choice because you think it comes with the pictured plastic storage box. It does not.

Good for beginners and people on a budget
The Betts Tyzac 6 foot and 3/8th inch mesh cast net is a good beginners net or for some one on a budget. It is a lot different compared to the Hi-Tider and Old Salt series from Betts but, you get what you paid for which is an okay net. I've used it for a month now and it is showing signs of deterioration. The line is getting brittle and a few holes have developed. But overall, this net is okay and you'll be able to catch plenty of bait with it. The people who complain that this net "doesn't open up" should be blaming themselves for not knowing how to throw a cast net properly. I will say it does not open up as smoothly as the more expensive nets.

Good quality!
Love cast nets! If you are a beginner or this is your first net, make sure you do your research and learn how to throw it and then practice! This will save you from unnecessary frustration and help you catch more bait!

I'm annoyed
I'm annoyed that it didn't come in the container as shown but came in a useless clear bag. These nets are ok, not as relaxed as I'd like but I also like, and use the plastic box. There are better nets that come with bait buckets for the same price. So. Could be better. If you can't supply people with the products as shown then at least notify them or fix your listing.

Just the right size
The size of 6 ft is the radius - so watch out on your size choices.6 ft is just the right size for me to hold the lead weights off the ground when holding the collar in one hand. The instructions included are good except I like to throw it back-handed across the body like a frisbee - because it opens all the way for me that way.

Quality product
Quality net, tough netting, heavy weights, but a bit tricky to throw. If you've never used one, probably will take some practice.
