I have ordered this Item for a senior dog, who was reportedly having behavioral issues - barking at people passing by, occasional intend to attack, basicaly my pet was reported to be such a high maintanance, that the previous owner considered puting him down.I got the dog in a new for him environment and got the collar for him, as he had separation issues AS WELL he would bark for a long time if i am out of the house. I strated training him along with the collar and it did do him good. Two weeks in, with a collar and correct attitude, the animal is calmer, friendlier and quieter than ever before.Collar is easy to set up, while my dog is quite a big medium breed, i use setting 8 or 9. It works a treat! There is a slight issue tho, as whenever he shakes off any fur after a bit of grooming, the collar does activate.Overall he doesnt bark as much. I would recommend if having a high maintenance animal to use a calming aid, this collar and definitely to put in the time and work towards the corrections in the behaviour.It doesn`t work a magic overnight. If you are a client purchasing this thinking you` d just put it on the animal and it would to it`s thing, sorry for the news, but it is training collar.

***update***after using it for few months i reduced stars from 4 to 1. it doesnt work. our dog very quickly used to it and totally ignored beeps or vibrations coming out of the collar. We went through all levels and she just don't react to it what so ever. We actually working now on training her to stop barking on command.:/We were very nervous to put that on our Bichon 8 month old pup… but she didn’t gave us choice.She constantly was barking at “ invisible “ things at home.We have put collar on the lowest “ beep “ setting.And it worked !We only putting it on when we are at home but we are leaving it on table when we are out. So if she will bark she will still hear “ beep “ noise.It confuses her a bit. But definitely she stopped barking… not 100% but that is acceptable as in the end she is a dog and dog need to bark sometimes.She is a bit scared of that collar so even when she was wearing it but collar was off ( run out of battery ) she dare to bark.All good !Not giving 5* as collar beeped few times on its own – when she was playing in her bed, when she was digging… that sort of noise shouldn’t make collar to beep but it did therefore only 4 stars.In the end it is only £12 ….

My pup just loves barking and although impecabbly behaved otherwise refused to respond to my attempts to stop this when inapropriate. Apparatus Instructions are simple .No need for batteries as this is rechargable . Easy to assemble and fit . The collar can be cut to size and will fit any sized dogs neck . My pup has a broad neck . This does not have nasty prongs on it and simply gives you the choice of a vibration( I tried on myself first) a buzz sound and a sound in audible to us . There is the option to choose all or one of these deterrents . I found one use and he understood and didn't try barking again . I didn't leave it on and now he responds in the main if I ask him to be quiet and the most I get is a grumble . It works ,reasonably priced , rechargable,modern design and kind to your pet The company say lifetime guarantee . What more can I say . good choice

Would be five stars but it has a flaw.It's far to sensitive even on the lowest setting.If the wind blows or the car goes over a bump the collar goes off.It had stopped him barking, I just put it on him switched off and he knows what it is and I stand of barking he puts his lips together and just blows, it's funny to see when the postman arrives. Such a shame it's too sensitive.My other dog knows when he's wearing it and uses it to his advantage. Dog with the collar pics up a ball and won't give it up, other dog runs up to him Barks the collar goes off and he drops the ball.

nicely made collar easy to fir has lessened the barking unless she gets really excited then she ignores it

This product seemed great when I first got it. I set it up quickly. However, I've only had it a few days and wanted to change the settings as the noise is driving me mad. So wanted to up the vibration and put it on only vibration. Which its meant to be able to do but won't, it will only do sound only or combined and it number setting will not longer change its stuck at 5. When I first turned it on I could change that around but not anymore.I'm not overly impressed with this and wouldn't buy it again for that reason. In the first few days it takes time to get the right settings for your dog but with this collar you have to guess it right the first time.

I have a pug who is 15 months old and she has been driving me potty with her constant barking at nothing. I don’t mind dogs barking but when letting her out at 6am in the morning, I worry my neighbour’s were getting disturbed at her barking at the wind. I tried distraction techniques but have to stand and watch her so that wasn’t working. So I got this collar.I set it with ease and cut it to size and attached it to my dog.Straight away she barked and the unit went off bleeping and vibrating. This made her duck her head and wonder where the noise was coming from. She barked the second time and that was it she didn’t bark again. I’ve gone from a dog barking at the wind the rain anything to total silence. I decided I didn’t want her to never not bark so I don’t use it in the house and just in the garden. This device has worked so well in 3 days that if I have forgot to put it on for a quick toilet break she has stopped barking when normally she would bark like crazy.It has even stopped her barking with the next door neighbour’s dog.I’m so shocked it worked and I have a bit of silence now when getting ready for work in a morning.
