We ordered 6 of these bar stools for use throughout our home. We placed 2 at a 44" kitchen island counter top bar, 3 at a 38" bar, and 1 by an Arcade1Up machine (roughly 34") and they fit perfectly at each of those spots. The bar stools are super easy to assemble. They took longer to take out of the box and unwrap than put together. Speaking of which, the bar stools came well wrapped and protected. One of the boxes had a fairly big hole on one side, but the bar stools themselves were undamaged. Each one is very well made with no problems adjusting their height (not cross threaded). There's a bit more gray in seats than I expected, which I personally enjoy as it gives them a bit more character. We've had multiple get together's in the house and our visitors sat comfortably and spun around freely in them. I can see them lasting in our home for years to come. They look just as presented and work just as described. A word of caution that only adults should use them when set at a taller seating height. They can sit very high and a small child, or even an early teen could fall off as it does not have a supporting frame for one's back. But this is the look we were after and couldn't be happier with them. Great looking bar stools at a very nice price.

We bought two of these to complement our two other bar stools that we’ve had for years. We love our old stools so much that I wasn’t sure we’d find any that we liked as well ... but we did! My grandpa put the stools together one morning before any of the rest of us got up. They didn’t come with instructions, but it didn’t take him long to figure it out anyway. They’re heavy enough to be sturdy and I don’t feel nervous about older (yet, still quite active/wiggly) kids or the large men in my family sitting on these stools. They’re comfortable to sit on while we chat across the kitchen island and while we eat at the bar. I like that the height is adjustable just by spinning the top. We usually keep it as low as possible due to our bar height, but I like the ability. It’s visually pleasing with the metal frame and wooden seat top. It has a toned down rustic industrial feel to me which I love.

nice, heavy-duty stools

Very nice stools. Heavy metal with good quality and comfortable wood seat. I bought 4 pcs for my coffee bar. Very satisfied with my purchase. Easy to assemble. Would definitely buy again.I had to adjust my review and drop 1 star. I bought 4 of these stools. 3 work amazing however, the 4th one is not machined correctly. When you turn the seat, it gets stuck at a certain point. I tried Greece, also tried oiling it, but no luck. It took 3 of us to turn hold the stool and turn the seat to the desired height. It is now stuck at that height, so we’ll make the best of it.

Perfect bar stool for my kitchen island. They are sturdy, well made, and adjustable. Unlike Bono, I have found what I was looking for.

We looked for a long time for a rustic type stool for our kitchen island bar. These are perfect. Not only were they priced much better that anything we've found at local furniture stores, they a attractive, well made, and very simple to assemble. The fact that we received them in one day only makes this entire experience more enjoyable.

Sturdy and exactly what I was looking for. These stools work great at our kitchen island, but they can also be raised to bar height if we need more seating at our bar. I left off the “cross bar” when I assembled them bc I like the look better without them. I think the bar is supposed to keep the seat from screwing up and down on its own, but we keep them all the way down, so it’s not an issue (and when we do raise them, they stay without the bar).

These stools are awesome! I've been looking for kitchen counter stools for years!! These really are just what I was looking for. Quality seems great....they look great with our country/antique decor! OOPS!!!Just got the second pair of the stools....ordered 2 sets of 2 on the same order. We received 2 stools & several days later we received the 2nd set....the wood seats are a totally different color. There is no way we could put them next to each other at our kitchen counter. Now I'm really disappointed. I contacted the seller, we'll see what they can do....may be looking at returning all four. Sooooo disappointed. More news on these stools...I contacted the seller & told them about the total color difference of the seats...a timely response & a wonderful solution to the problem!!! They sent us 4 of just the wood top....all the same color, we didn't have to ship anything back....we're soooo happy with this seller. Timely response to our email & received the tops just as quick!!! AND THE SAGA CONTINUES....we started swapping the seats on the stools and THE REPLACEMENT SEATS ARE A DIFFERENT SIZE!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I'm read y to send all of the stools back at this point....ridiculous & frustrating. I emailed the seller again, can't wait for the response....UNBELIEVABLE!!! OH BOY, unbelievable...Now they sent us 2 more seats, they're probably hoping they'l match at least 2 of the originals....ONE OF THE REPLACEMENT SEATS HAS NO PREDRILLED HOLES OR INSERTS THAT WE NEED TO ATTACH THEM TO THE STOOLS!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? CONTACTED SELLER RIGHT AWAY.....NO RESPONSE. THIS SELLER NEEDS TO BE REMOVED FROM AMAZON. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!
