Great for my indoor garden. Helps plant to use the nutrients in the soil.
I grow most of our veggies and herbs year around under LED lighting. I had been adding compost to my potting soil, but found that compost lowers the PH of the soil as it decomposes for use by the plants. This humic acid is organic, has the same benefits as compost, but does not change the PH of the soil as it does not have to be broken down for use by plants.Humic acid is not a fertilizer per se. It is an effective soil conditioner that should be used with fertilizer to help the plants utilize the nutrient in the soil. The only warning on the bottle is that this product should not be used with fertilizers high in calcium (calcium nitrate) or have a low PH. Before buying this product, I did some research and found this information. The benefits of using liquid humic acid are:1) It improves the availability of micronutrients in the soil, allowing roots to absorb the more efficiently.2) It enhances soil texture by promoting better aeration and water retention.3) It feeds microbes that help plants grow naturally.4) It works for both indoor and outdoor plants.5) It can significantly impact plant health, resilience, and productivity.6) It does not change the PH of the soil.To summarize, liquid humic acid improves the soil, feeds beneficial microbes in the soil, and helps plants to utilize nutrients in the soil. Since the recommended usage of the product is 1/4 to 1/2 cup per gallon of water, the gallon size is much more economical depending on your watering needs. Although I use this humic acid on some of my younger plants, I have found it to be most beneficial on my older plants since many of them are 2-5 years old.I have been adding this product to my watering water once or twice a month and my plants are all doing great. Veggie greens are growing faster, and fruiting veggies such as tomatoes and peppers are getting more and larger fruit. If you are serious about the plants you grow, I recommend trying this humic acid to see an increase in productivity.I hope this review was helpful for you.

I think it's working.
Product seems to be helping out my lawn. Grass not dead so time will tell. It's easy to apply with a Hudson sprayer. Just follow the instructions. I'm on my second application which requires less of a dosage. 1 gallon Product will last more then one season depending on lawn size. My lawn size is about 1500sqft.

great addition to organic/natural gardening
Humic acid is an excellent additive to your fertilizing program. Our new home is built on dead, hard, compacted, poorly draining "builder subsoil". The lawn, the trees, the roses, the palms, the star jasmines, they were all struggling after being installed. After a great deal of reading, I decided on a program of compost and liquid fertilizers that are natural, easily applied, and that work well together. I eventually ended up on a recipe of humic acid (which helps the plant absorb the nutrients that are already in the soil as well as the fertilizers that are added alongside), fish emulsion, which has a variety of macro nutrients, and liquid kelp, which has a variety of micro-nutrients as well as growth factors. I've sprayed it on my lawn, shrubs, roses, and soil drenched my trees. Less than a year later, the soil where I've been semi-faithfully fertilizing and adding mulch/compost is soft, well-draining, and the plants are extremely happy. My gardener says he has never seen a lawn in Southern CA so lush and "springy thick" (I also have him topdress with compost). GS plant foods has my "nutes" at a decent price, and the products arrive promptly, well packed (e.g. there is a little plastic plug, easily removed, under the cap which helps to prevent leaks.....and humic acid is legendary for its staining abilities!), and CS wrote me to make sure I was happy with my order. I do recommend this company and intend to continue purchasing from them.

Mix this humic/fulvic acid with kelp or kelp/fish blend...Watch your plants grow!!
Excellent product with phenomenal growth nutrient uptake support..Buy it, and some kelp/seaweed formula! Use along with your normal nutrient soil program..fox farm trio (what I use). Anyway, I alternate feedings between fox farms and humic/fulvic acid and fox farms, etc. In between these nutrient feedings, I feed water with cal mag and nectar of gods yucca. I add silicone during veg along with fox farms or humic/fulvic/kelp/fish blend, so not to have issues with cal mag precipping out. You don't want to use my suggested regiment every feeding, or with fox farms together, etc...key is to alternate when you give your base nutrients (along with ph'ing water to 6.8 so root zone will be getting 6.3_6.4).I've read the real suggestion is to go once humic/fulvic/kelp once every 3 weeks, but hey, I want growth,! I also add a fish part to my kelp (comes as fish/kelp in one). My plants take the 2-3 times per month of this humic/fulvic acid and kelp/fish blend.. no prob! You want to use double the humic/fulvic acid coupled with half dose seaweed kelp/fish blend (it stinks!). In my case, it's 4 oz humic/fulvic and 2 oz kelp/fish blend..per gallon h2o. Then, watch the explosion of growth and greenification!!My research on humic acid /kelp blend is based on a study done at the University of Virginia, I believe. Unless you want to add humis, etc and other soil additives upon transplanting, this liquid humic acid/fulvic acid blend is the easiest way to add consistent nutrient supply to the root zone (albeit diluted vs the humis soil additives method). Great product, cheap, and Thanks so much!! Hope this helps you grow more happiness too!!

Humus in a bottle
I love this stuff ..it really helped my Camelia's and Azrael's alot. I ended up spraying it with a dial lawn sprayer on everything I my shrub beds. I had added humus at planting, but using this helps give everything a boost...I just wish it wasn't so expensive because I'm out!
