Neither good nor bad
The good thing about these headphones is the decent quality of sound, and how the wire is threaded and not plastic, so it's more durable. They fit comfortably in my opinion because my ears fit snug in the foam. However, I used them as everyday use (more than 12 hours a day for music and what not) and they broke pretty quickly. I bicycle to school in cold weather with my phone in the bike basket since the wire is long enough, but after constant ups and downs with hills and sidewalk crevices, the jack part broke down more quickly than expected. It caused the music to sound distorted unless you bent the cable a certain way. I got these back in September on the 25th and they lasted till October 14th. I wouldn't say that they are good or bad, but half a month is worth it for $16-$18

Great for $20, but not for professional applications
First off, I'm an audiophile. I work with sound and media for my profession, so I'll be looking at these things from 2 standpoints. Skip to your section as appropriate.Professional/Prosumer:They are comfortable, the multiple color options are great, and both the cord and headset seem sturdy. The ear pads are comfortable, but do not completely cover the ear. I don't have large ears, but the bottom of my ear peaks out just a little bit. small ears would probably be enveloped in a nice, pleather cushion. The sound and quality are fine. They, IMHO are what you would expect from a >20$ pair of headphones. The sound is not balanced, but I can hear all of the parts of the music. No levels are really missing as will often happen with cheap speakers. These may not be good for doing work or listening intently, as they lack a clean sound, but perform well in the range where they're strong. The bass is decent. The highs are a little airy. There is very slight white noise/buzz on some frequencies. These sound as if you're sitting in a big outdoor space listening to music instead of having speakers inside or in your car. It's a somewhat harsh sound. In other words, they simply lack audio richness or warmth, even considering that there is no Sub. But as I said, what do you expect for 16$. You don't have to buy a pair of 'Beets headphones (they just use metal components instead of plastic ones to add 'sturdiness') to get good sound, but you need to spend a little more than this.Casual User:They are comfortable, the multiple color options are great, and both the cord and headset seem sturdy. The ear pads are comfortable, but do not completely cover the ear. I don't have large ears, but the bottom of my ear peaks out just a little bit. small ears would probably be enveloped in a nice, pleather cushion. Now, ask yourself, what do I expect for $16 when great sounding headphones will cost me $50-75? The finish is a little cheap, as the glossy finish on the silver has worn off in 1 place (or it came OOB that way), but I'm not taking points off for it. The sound is fine. The tone is as if you're sitting in a big outdoor space listening to music instead of having speakers inside or even in your car. But they're better than others that I've tried at this price range, and the bass is certainly present. Decent bass.I will update as necessary...VERDICT:Buy these if you need a good quality spare headset for around the house, not annoying roommates, throwing in your bag, etc.Buy something else for professional or similar applications.

Don't waste your money
Sound quality OK for the price. Comfortability OK for the price. Unfortunately it didn't take long (3 weeks)before the wires inside the cable started giving me problems. I couldn't hear anything unless the headphone cable was placed in some awkward position, so I wrapped it with electrical tape to hold that particular position. After awhile even that wasn't good enough and I had to buy new ones. I knew with cheap headphone I couldn't expect it to last forever, but I have had some to lasted over six months.

CHANGING MY RATING. She says the sound is WONDERFUL and they're COMFORTABLE
My daughter loves her Intone Earphones. She says the sound is WONDERFUL and they're COMFORTABLE. She uses them mostly to watch movies on her phone. After 2 wks, one of the ear pieces stop working. We're guessing it's from the packaging and the way they were bent. This is where they seem to have a slight disconnection and shortage. So, don't know if this is a packaging problem and a manufacturer problem. Wish I could've given a 2 1/2 star rating. Will be contacting the manufacturer.

Works well thus far
Santa got these for my kiddo to replace his Sony's that he somehow broke. Wasn't going to spend the money for Sony again due to his carelessness. So got these just to see how they'd do. He mainly just uses these with his Ipad and watching videos and such. So far he loves them and says they work well and sound great. Not sure what the music Connoisseurs have to say, but for kiddos application, it works fine! I'll update review after a couple of months or so of use.

Junk
I purchased these headphones for my son to use with his laptop and Wii U Gamepad and he didn't get a weeks worth of use out of them before they started falling apart. He was so excited to have them that he tried his best to keep them from breaking. The ear-cushions started falling off. It is very hard to put them back on; you have to pop off the plastic piece they go around and I was scared I'd break them every time I did this. I thought he may be picking at but I saw for myself when he put the headphones on, immediately after I fixed them, he turned his head and I saw it just pop out of place! The wire started shorting out in less than two months. I put electric tape on the end by the plug to make sure he didn't accidentally bend the wire but they still messed up. Like I said, he tried his best to take care of them and was very careful plugging them in and unplugging them and made sure the wire was never wedged between the laptop and another object. The headphones looked and sounded perfect for him but they were Crap!

... several different headsets and not getting something lightweight and excellent sound and ease of use
After trying several different headsets and not getting something lightweight and excellent sound and ease of use, ordered this one because the description was what I was looking for. They are exactly what I was looking for. Lightweight and easy to install. Sound quality is excellent and the cost for this set is well worth the price. Thanks for a great product!
