For the money, I found this to be a fantastic deal.Plenty loud enough in my 3/4 helmet and my modular. Music and podcasts were clear and loud, even wearing earplugs. That said speaker placement is key to getting good results, this is the same for all helmet speakers.I have been riding using this set for two weeks and working in a motorcycle shop, have tried it with several bikes. Only those with the loudest pipes could drown out the speakers.Charging is quick and simple and so far battery life seems excellent. Unfortunately the only way to charge the unit is to unplug the speakers, this will not be optimal for tourers who are in the saddle 10 hours a day. Love that it takes the same charger as my phone!My only other gripe is the mic cannot be detached from the speakers. This will be fine for those who want to talk to others but I get on my bikes to not talk :)Have not tried making calls or using BT to chat with others.The clamp works well enough but I may try the velcro and second mic/headphone set with my other helmets, then report back.Buttons are intuitive and easy to use with summer gloves, will be trying winter gloves soon and report back.Have not ridden in serious rain just yet, so far waterproofing works.Again, at less than $50, a solid deal.UPDATEAfter my review above I was compensated with a free spare speaker/mic set. The boom mic set I originally ordered was not exactly the correct part for my modular helmet, seller noted this and send me a wired speaker/mic set that works much better for my main helmet. The boom mic setup works well on one of my full-face helmets.+ Ridden now in several serious downpours, unit is solidly waterproof.+ Wearing winter gloves, the buttons are easy to find and use.+ I was seriously surprised at how long the battery lasts. I use this 90 minutes a day commuting and go a week or more before recharging. I have yet to take an all-day ride to see how it lasts but I am optimistic.+ I switched back to my UClear unit one day then my Lazer OEM BT helmet and was amazed at how quiet they were compared to the Thokwok. Thokwok volume was much louder and clearer.+ I rarely take calls while riding but have tried a couple times and found audio quality to be on par with any speaker phone or car phone, so, very good.+ Podcasts, music and calls are loud and clear even we’ll above the speed limit.- Charging is slow, seems to take two hours.- Cannot figure out how to make the mic always listen so I can “OK Google”To conclude: bumping this product to a 5 star for value even though I would prefer to be able to charge on the go.

I will say I was a bit hesitant to purchase this after reading some of the reviews, but after two months of use, I can safely say it was well worth it!Firstly regarding battery life, although I only ride for a maximum of 5-15 hours a week at the most, I have only had to charge this device once since my purchase in early October (it is currently December 13th). As well, when you turn the unit on it tells you what battery life it has, so you can plan out charges without guessing.Regarding setup, I have a Scorpion EXO-R420 Helmet, and the setup is about as easy as you can make taking apart padding in a helmet (I took me around 20 minutes to get the wiring just right). If you get it right you will not notice the speakers or wiring, just takes some patience.Regarding the sound, this is where the 5 star review is not applicable. The sound compared to higher quality speaker systems is clearly lacking. Both the Bass and Treble levels are noticeable low, and it makes the music you may be used to listening too with nice headsets or speakers in your car sound not so nice. However, the last thing I really am thinking of when riding is how "nice" the music sounds, as long as I can hear it I am fine! Which brings me to the sound maximum volume. When I first got the speakers I was hoping other reviews stating "low volume" would be untrue, and after a ride it did seem a little low, however I could definitely still hear it on a windy day riding at 50-60 MPH. If you ride much faster regularly or wear earplugs, this unit may be a little lacking in the max volume range for you. For my needs however, I never get to max volume as I prefer to keep a focus on the sounds around me.I did test the microphone with a family member, and they could hear me just fine, and I could hear them, although the volume in calls was a bit low in comparison to music (iPhone 11, Bluetooth).Overall this is a great alternative to the more expensive options in the market, especially if you just want a little background music on a easy ride!*Now used for over two years and it is till running perfectly and the battery last just as long as initially. Great Product!

The Bluetooth part works amazing! Long battery life and quickly connects to my phone when I turn it on! Very disappointed with the headphones, first set stopped working around 3 months, customer service did replace for free, however I about another 3 months in and the second set has stopped working also
