Removes seized pistons with ease.
Removed two extremely jammed and corroded pistons in fifteen minutes including working out how to use the kit.The kit is a joy to use.Had previously spent several hours trying to get any movement, was facing having to replace that caliper bodies.I had already purchased new pistons and found useing the tool i was able to fit the new pistons in seconds without the risk of damaging the seals.Highly recommended.

Done in twenty mins!
Nicely made and presented. A fair amount of effort is needed even when the internal walls of the pistons have been thoroughly clean. That said all twelve pistons were removed in twenty minutes without damage. An excellent result!

Good tool that works
Good tool that works, could be better, sometimes you have to give it a few goes to get the piston out.

Just the job
Does exactly what it says on the tin.Makes removing seized pistons a breeze, well worth the money, could maybe need some larger adaptors for bigger pistons though.

Only tool that will do the job.
I had a rear caliper on a bike that hadn't moved for 12 years. It was a mass of corrosion. This tool shifted the pistons, which I wasn't sure was possible.Don't expect the job to be zero effort: the tool works well, but it may take some force to get the pistons out. A couple of tips which may be useful:* The slide hammer is obvious. However once you have moved the piston a bit, it's actually easier to turn it rather than use the slide hammer to finish the job.* Getting the expanding bit out of the piston when you are finished can require some thought. Loosen the expanding cone, then tap on the end of the rod to free it from the expanding bit. Now use something like a large Mole grip to remove the expanding grip from the piston. It will come out, since only spring pressure is holding it at this point.
