Best screen protector
Best screen protectors out there. Great for reducing the blue light from the phone as well. Easy to apply to phone screen.

It would be scratched to death within a minute, no matter how careful you are.
The idea seems great, also I really do think the filter works and my eyes feel less tired with it(much more so than the iPhone night filter). What my problem with it is, it started cracking at the edges in the first week and got a million scratches from what seem like thin air. I rarely drop my phone and it’s always kept in a case. I usually have it in deep pockets of a fleecy hoodies with nothing else inside, especially so I avoid the aforementioned, as you do with your expensive gadgets. I left a comment once on the brand’s Instagram but it was promptly deleted, or it disappeared on its own if not deleted. Which kind of leaves you with a bitter taste somewhat. Otherwise both me and my partner work on laptops and I was raving about these protectors like they’re the holy grail but due to quality and customer service have now changed my mind. I don’t think I’d be spending that amount of money on screen protectors again.

Value your sleeping pattern, mental health and eyes?? Then buy Ocushield Screen Protectors!!
Let me start by saying I never leave Amazon reviews, that may sound a tad harsh, but I literally would have to be leaving up to 5 reviews a week!! However Ocushield are such a scientifically decent and caring company, I feel I ought to say a few words. I am very aware of the effects of Blue Light exposure and how detrimental it can be to ones circadian rhythm as well as the eye strain and mild headaches it can cause. I discovered Ocushield Blue Light Protection at least a decade ago and have used many of their products since. They are scientifically the best of the best in my opinion are not the sort of materials one should skimp out on, There are many companies claiming to give decent Blue Light Protection, but from my experience Ocushield lead this field and thats why I always turn to them, not only for their extensive range and quality, there after sale Customer Service is second to none, they listen, assist, advise and will do their best to keep your peepers in good nick!! Jokes aside your eyes need looking after as much as any part of your body, but I can honestly say the Blue Light Protection Screens they make not just for iPhones and iMacs are well worth the purchase price, Finally I wish to add with all due respect to Amazon and eBay will stock many Blue Light Protection Screens, but I just wouldn't bother with any of them OTHER THAN Ocushield products, I also have a Blue Light Protector Screen on my 24" iMac and not only (as with the iPhone screens) are intricately robust and scientifically constructed, I find I do not lose out on image resolution and colour. Cheers Ocushield, Thanks for helping me stay productive and get a good nights rest!!

Very premium, sort of effective, very reflective.
The experience of application is very good. The packaging and material of the product is high quality. It says it blocks “99% of blue light in 300-400nm range” which is a gimmick since 1) OLED iPhone screens produce hardly any light in this range and 2) the eyes are mostly affected by light in 460-490nm spectral range. It also says it reduces “up to 40% of light in 400-470nm range” which is the real application of this product. The screen was not considerably tinted towards yellow, perhaps a tiny bit but it’s imperceptible, which is nice. The problem is it reflects loads of blue light back at you from the surrounding environment which reduces readability, requiring the screen brightness to be higher in some cases which mitigates the overall effect. I’m not sure if this is improving the situation by much for £25. I’ll see how it goes, but I wont stop using night mode and reducing brightness.

This product is not a gimmick, detailed explanation below.
Before I start, I am not in any way affiliated with this company, I'm just a customer who chanced upon the product. I have eyes that do not like bright lights especially blue light. Signs and text that are lit blue at a distance appear as a blur to me (worse if the source light is an LED) while all other colours appear very sharp (I do not require prescription lenses to see clearly at any distance although a very mild correction does perceivably benefit me at all distances.) When the world shifted from CCFL (fluourescent backlit with UV (invisible) source light) to LED backlighting (blue LED with a yellow phosphor to absorb that blue light and fluouresce yellow) I found myself with unbearable eye fatigue whenever looking at a white LED backlit display of any kind. Some research later I discovered that is because the white light emitted by white LEDs is the product of a mix of blue and yellow photons only, it is not a full spectrum white like sunlight or RGB light, it has a massive spike of blue light in the 450nm wavelength and dropping off sharply but still present either side of that. This is the exact point of the visible spectrum that causes people with weak eyes like me to experience fatigue when we expose our retinas to that short wavelength of light due to its high energy. Other display technologies such as OLED/AMOLED have base light sources of a mix of red, green and blue LEDs in order to produce white, this results in a balanced and less optically obnoxious white that my eyes (and i'm sure many others) have a much easier time dealing with. (there is the PWM issue with OLEDs but I won't cover that here as it is not relevant) Why not just always use old CCFL monitors, and OLED devices and non white LED backlit displays then? In today's world that is impossible, the majority of displays we interact with on a daily bases are lit by white LEDs and produce other colours purely by filtration of that light, therefore the harsh light must be attenuated or avoided entirely for me if I want to keep my eyes in good health. Night modes on displays apply filtration to the base light, yes they can make your screen go all warm and amber by bathing the image in warm colours, but it does not and cannot stop a bunch of those blue photons from hammering into your eyes as the material in an LCD allows them to pass freely (it has to in order to display colours accurately). This product, I cannot tell you to what precision it attenuates the light, but it objectively does so. I can view my iphone 8's display which used to fatigue my eyes in a matter of a few minutes of use for normal use now without feeling that anywhere near as much. It was worth the money for me it has turned reliance on OLED mobile devices into that potentially not being the case. The only negatives I can state are definitely par for the course with this product, inherent to it's purpose and should not be regarded as flaws. They are as follows. Blue/Mauve tint to the device screen when tilted any direction but straight at you. Slight (and I do mean slight, slighter than night shift on less than a quarter of the way) yellow tint to the image, the marketing material stating that it doesn't affect the image at all is not 100% accurate (I expected this). Overall, good work on creating a product to address this issue, while I believe the general population does not experience fatigue to the point of going out and seeking a product like this, I do believe they could benefit from its use.

Good for blue light, not great for much else
If you’re looking for a screen cover that’s easy to install and reduces blue light, then this is great. Sadly it’s not perfect in many other aspects. Firstly, these come with a brilliant installation template, so if you’ve had problems lining up your screen protector in the past then this will allow you to breathe easy. You simply make sure your screen is clear of dust and drop the cardboard shape around your phone - like a phone case. Done! Amazing. The blue light tech in these is fantastic, it makes the image much less stressful for your eyes in dark environments, however this is where the benefits stop for me. As a professional photographer needing a clear, non colour altering display, this fails despite the claims. It does reduce blues and alters skin tones as a result, leading clean images of people to look slightly mucky, discoloured and jaundiced. Never mind, I can deal with that, I have various other screens, like my iPad and MacBook, to be able to showcase my images from. It’s a shame my readily available phone doesn’t show my images to the best colour accuracy but it’s not colour destroying and still suitable for a small form factor viewing. Sadly, this screen protector doesn’t function fantastically well at being a ‘screen protector’. I’m not too sure what strength of tempered glass is being used but it’s easily fractured and chipped on the edges, and after only a couple of months of use for my second one in 4 months I’ve got two nice cracks split across from different places after a single drop on thinly carpeted floor. My initial one actually broke along with my screen shattering beneath it from a waist high drop onto tarmac - not much in the way of screen protection. Oh, and I use a fairly expensive rubber case around my phone too. So I guess if you have a good armoured case that’s going to protect your screen anyway and you want blue light reduction with less discolouration than apple’s built in offering, this is great! If you want screen protection or perfect colour rendition, you’re better off getting something built better for strength.

Beautiful --> bubbles forming two months later
Omg this screen protector is beautiful! The image coming from the phone is so crisp! The way it feels when swiping is amazing too! I'm a fan! ----------------------------------- Two month update...not worth it. The screen protector is peeling off at the sides. Not worth it for the price. Cheaper screen protectors do better than this (*coughs* ESR).

Not worth the price
Installed the screen with no difficulty onto my iPhone XS Max, and the instructions were clear. However, there’s about a 2cm air bubble on the bottom left of my screen that just won’t go away, not even with lots of rubbing with the cloth provided. There’s also a chip on the corner! How the hell did that get there?! It’s been 10-15 mins since installing this screen and writing this review. For the price of the screen protector and these couple of issues, it’s really not worth it. I’ve had better and cheaper screen protectors.

Restful Eyes
Great product and you can see the difference within the first few days of using it.

Great product. Easy to install
I have broken two of these but they did what they needed to do. Protected my phone. I would much rather have these screen protectors break than my phone screen. Easy to install. And extremely durable. The multiple drops that eventually cracked this protector would have shattered the phone screen. I simply have a crack in the screen protector. Great product

Óptimo y de calidad
Me gustó mucho el producto. Al principio sí notas un cambio en la pantalla, pero a los pocos días te acostumbras y no notas la diferencia de antes. Sí he sentido que mis ojos ya no están tan irritados al final del día.

Relieved my eye strain
It was a little tricky to install the screen, but I got it done. Prior to having this shield, my eyes were always tired after being on my smartphone for a prolonged time. I've had the screen for several weeks now, and have noticed that my eye strain is no longer an issue after I've been on the iPhone for any length of time. I highly recommend installing this screen if you feel that your eyes are strained.
