ALLPARTS BN0833008 Brass Nut for Les Pauls

I bought this order through Amazon and it was filled by Arkansas Music. My order shipped and arrived faster than was advertised. No complaints there!!! In fact I'll probably do business directly with them next time as the prices are a lot higher where I'm located if they even have the part I need in stock. And I refuse to shop at GC or Sam Ash or any other big box store!!!I put this nut on a 07 Dean Vendetta 3.0 modded with a Bill Lawrence L500XL in the bridge and a Seymour Duncan 59B in the neck with Switchcraft toggle and barrel jack and a Seymour Duncan/Bourns 500k pot and no tone pot and the fit was perfect (measure twice, cut once ;) ). The old nut that came on the guitar was a cheapo plastic one and it was cut wrong from the factory with the strings being a mm or two into their slots and it was choking the sustain. This brass nut made a huge difference in my sustain and killed a bit of the high end sizzle from my pickups. Which was what I was going for!!! So over all an excellent mod!!!

Solid brass, so that's a plus, but not a where near for a Gibson guitar.

Enough material for a good fit installation had to widen the string slots so there was no sticking polished it up knock down the edges installed a lot more sustain for my 83 Les Paul☆☆☆☆☆

I was happy with the finish, I have not put it on a guitar yet. The sizing seems generally pretty good.
