EasyPro ECF10 Pressurized Filter for Ponds Up to 1000 Gallons

Bought this pond filter for our 4,000 gallon outdoor, above ground koi pond. We've had it a month now and so far, so good. No problems and seems to work just as it promised. It is replacing a much more expensive model we purchased from a pond product company online. Their filter was garbage. This one is holding up well so far.

Well, I can't say for sure. The filter had broken gaskets when we got it so we had to cobble something together, which worked better than the original. My pond is not nice and clean looking with this filter, and I'm not sure why. So, the verdict is still out.

After much research, this filter works very well and is a good price for the value.We are using it in an 800 gallon pond and the water is staying clean and clear.We run it all the time with no trouble, except when the temperature drops too far below freezing, thenwe stop and wait for the thaw.No troubles with it at all.

Getting a new filter must make the fish happier to have cleaner water. So far the filter seems to be working great.

THIS FILTER IS JUNK, MY POND NEVER GOT CLEAN WITH THIS, DON'T WASTE YOU MONEY, I JUST BROUGHT IT IN APRIL,2014 AND IT MAY 31 2014,WENT BACK TO MY OLD TETRA FILTER LAST NIGHT AND THIS MORNING MY POND IS CLEAR. MY POND IS LESS THEN 1,THOUSAND GALLONS

Undersized for listed pond gallons. Mine requires manual cleaning every three days. Cleaning indicator does not work, filter expands when dirty and it still indicates "Clean".

After using this for last summer, I found this to be the best filter I have ever used for my 1300 gal. Koi pond. I have previously wrote a briefer excellent review, but felt compelled to write a more precise positive review after I believe are negative misleading reviews posted. I am suspicious of their motives. My pond has never been better ( I used a couple previous tetra filters ). I can't say tetra is of lesser quality because my water results at the time were compromised by a too powerful pump pushing water through my uv light too fast, not allowing the uv to work properly. Make sure you don't make the same mistake ! I can't be more impressed with the way the enclosed UV works, the very sturdy construction, the acceptable ease of cleaning ( wow...didn't have to clean filter only ONCE the entire summer!! ) I don't recommend to clean only once, but I am disabled and it is a chore to accomplish, but my water always looked perfect. I had a crew come in the Michigan Spring and power wash the pond...that with the filter kept my water crystal clear with monthly bacterial additives. Never had it so good.
