Pond BOSS CBBPR5 Pro Block Bacteria, 5-Pound

These seem to work well in helping to break down all the leaves that fall into my pond yearly and result in less smelly muck for the dog to get covered in!

I started using this in July or August have put 3 bricks in my 1 acre pond. You can see through it. We cut it up into 1/3 s or quarters to it more evenly into the pond. It works over time. I keep my pond dyed and with this and the dye my pond is beautiful. In the first pick that is a group of koi and they are near the bottom and I took that Pic from a distance at twilight.

Absolutely amazing product!! Our pond has never been more clear. The soil on our property is extremely red and stains everything it comes in contact with. This is the first year our pond has ever been clear enough to see all the fish. We highly recommend this easy to use block. Within two days the water was noticeably cleaner! We have four ponds on our property and would love to add blocks to all of them. Our limited budget is our only hold up.

The Block isn't magical but compared to other products, I think it excels in both use and price. Simply unwrap the block and toss it into the deepest area of your pond and let it do it's work. You can start to see results in as little as a few weeks. But remember, this is not a one and done process. Ideally, you should drop two of these per year, or at least one annually. I'm happy with the results and will continue buying.

This block did not clear my pond up like promised. I had high hopes after reading all of the wonderful reviews but after waiting a month this block hardly did a thing to my pond that isn’t more than full acre. This block says it is rated up to a 5 acre pond and it should clear things up but it didn’t do much for me. I don’t feel like it was worth the amount of money spent not to see results.

This works really well on a scummy pond. We have a 1acre pond…..cut the block in half & threw it in. The water is clear now. Some muck on the bottom….dont know if this will clear that ! Overall very pleased !

Had floating algae in my pond, tossed in the bacteria block...a couple of days later, no more floating algae. It has been two months since the block was put in and there is still no algae visible. Prior to putting the block in, the algae got worst as the pond water heated. Now it appears to be under control.

Water in the pond was fairly clear but the muck was out of control. 2 days after the cube went in water started looking horrible and shown in the picture. One thing I can think of is that it's breaking down the muck but that's just my guess. Regardless it's looking very concerning. 1 month in water looks horrid. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT
