Milwaukee 4932471823 Bit Holder

Don't know how I ever survived without this. Has been used and abused with an impact driver and speedbore bits drilling through multiple studs / joists at once. Brilliant tool, and the best part is the reverse release clip that holds in the bit which really helps to avoid loosing the bit from the extention when drilling blind behind partitions. Also great when you need to remove a screw or drill a hole at a shallow angle near an immovable surface when you can't get the impact driver at a perpendicular angle to that which you are drilling / removing with the result that you either strip the screw or drill the hole at too severe an angle. A good example is when you need to drill up through a joist that is flush to a wall to finish a chase for electrical work. The length of the extention with your drill bit allows you to drill at a shallow angle so you can avoid hitting the block wall behind the joist and ruining your bit.

Had so many rubbish extension bits over the years that have never lasted. This is bulletproof 👍

I was put off ordering this extension as I had read a review on here about it not running true and being bent. Well all I can say is I’m glad I trusted my gut and ignored those reviews, as you can see mine runs perfectly true. The bit lock is solid with both 25mm bits and 50mm indented bits, bits are gently ejected by pushing the collar forward. You might think this may result in some lost bits when pulling back through a tight or awkward hole but the bit is still held securely, so I’m confident this won’t be an issue but only time will tell. A Great buy and I’ll probably look for some shorter ones as well.

after reading other reviews I knew there was a change it could show up bent, mine arrived perfect though and it is a great tool. Has a nice retaining mechanism too so there's very little change of loosing you bit in the hard to reach area.

Hard to remove packaging on an otherwise excellent product.

Great centering, great lock and magnet. The disadvantage is the black coating. It is difficult to see in the darkness and in the organizer. A shiny finish of some sort would be great.

Great for those hard to reach areas. Seems very strong and sturdy just what you would expect from Milwaukee. Love the way it holds the bit in place and not having to worry about it dropping out

This is an item that, in my trade of auto mechanics, I use frequently. I have this item in various sizes and they are all incredible useful. Great value for the money, top quality, fits all bit drivers, incredibly easy to use, not held by magnets but a click in system which holds perfectly. Every tool guy with a bit driver needs these in all lengths.
