Great toy! Works well indoors, too!
I got this for my kids to use at my son's 5th birthday. We have another "mini" version of a different brand and we like it fine, but the base is a little bit wonky (our fault, not theirs) so I wanted something that was harder to mess up and could be used consistently with a bunch of preschoolers at a birthday party. This works great! It may not fly quite as high as the other brand (not sure) but it certainly is high enough to satisfy my kids. They even used it in the house (vaulted 2-story high ceiling) and it thwacked into the ceiling each time which they were very satisfied with. They had so much fun that I bought a 2nd one so we can have rocket races. And of course we got extra rockets. I love that the cost for replacements is decent. The fins eventually fell off the rockets after repeated whacks into the ceiling, but that makes sense, and they could be repaired easily with a dab of glue. The kids loved playing with them over and over. And even stacking them to see how high 3 rockets would go (spoiler: not as high) :)One thing though, the pad is a little bit smaller than the other brand so it makes more sense for my kids to stomp on it than jump on it. I loved watching them jump into the air with increasing enthusiasm in order to get it to fly higher on our other brand. Not the same thing with a big stomp. My nearly-5 year old says he likes it just as much, if not more, so this is a minor thing, but worth potentially considering. (In short, you jump on a stomp rocket and stomp on a jump rocket.)

First rocket ship fun
Update: one year later. Have had to buy extra rockets - the fins fall off or get torn off by excited children. You can only superglue them back on so many times! But replacements are inexpensive. My grandson, now 4 1/2 still loves to play with them. Bought second set for my out of town twin 3 yr old grandsons - they were here at Christmas and LOVED shooting off the rockets. And they took things one step further, putting one rocket on the nosecone of another and shooting both off!Bought this for my 3 year old grandson. I figured he might not be able to shoot the rocket very high and that grandpa would have to help. Not so! After grandpa demonstrated what to do, and shot the rocket up about 30 feet, my grandson gave it a try. After just a couple tries he shot the rocket up at least 25 feet. We are in Texas and it was HOT outside. So we decided to come back in the house. The rockets are foam so we decided he could continue shooting the rockets indoors. No marks to the ceiling - no damage, and we got to cool off! I would recommend this item! My grandson asked me before he went home, "Could you order more rockets from Amazon for me to have at my house?" Hmmm, yes I could, but Grammy does like to have special things at our house that he doesn't have any place else!

Best birthday gift! But parents need to initiate play.
I feel that this toy requires some supervision. Especially with children under 10. I’ve had several stomp rockets and gave this one as a gift. While all of the parents were ignoring the kids I opened it up and got them playing. Every kid there wanted to stomp after they saw how high it would go. So I organized them into a line and order. The Home had ceilings 2 stories high and the rockets would hit the ceiling!! The kids absolutely loved it and stomped those rockets for a good hour. Also used to entertain siblings of the kids on my sons soccer team at each practice and game. The fins did fall off quite quickly. But it doesn’t affect them. I don’t let my kids use it outdoors unless we are in an open field because I don’t want them on the roof.

So simple and so much fun!
We saw a stomp rocket type toy at a birthday party and I came home to search for one for our 20 month old twin girls. This Geospace set is perfect. It was not immediately easy for the girls -- which is exactly what I wanted. It took a week for them to fully gain the new gross motor skills to balance and step on the rocket launcher with their full body weight on their heels (otherwise they are not strong enough to push it down). This launcher is very compact (which is much appreciated in a household full of toys), and the rockets are entirely made of foam, so no chance of gouging anyone's eyes or ceiling out. They are just so much fun!p.s. The toy does feel a little "cheap" because it's just some simple plastic pieces and some foam rockets. So if you are trying to impress someone with an expensive feeling gift don't buy this. But if you are looking for lots of fun for under $10 for your toddlers, this is perfect!

Works as should
only complaint is that one of the rockets had a wing come unglued after a week or so. other than that the cat loves to shred the crap out of them when the kid leaves them out.works well enough its worth the buy

Awesome
I bought this for my 3 yr old's birthday gift. He LOVES them and they do fly quite well. They are easy enough for him to play for a good 45 minutes alone or until a "space ship" gets caught on the porch roof. He has one torn already due to smashing it down onto the launch pad.. but it does still fly well. A few of the fins have torn too, but a little E-6000 glue and they are good as new! I will be buying him replacement rockets for Christmas or as needed. This is definitely a great toy for an active little boy!!

Fun Toy for Kids
Great little toy for kids....unfortunately we have already had to glue it back together. The little ones had a blast with it so I am recommending it. Would of given it 5 stars if it did not break the first time out!

Not so good
So they look pretty cool but far from it.. the rockets are very small, not much space between the rockets nd launch pad...the tube that connects the launch pad to the rockets make it uneven and also the tube is really Poor quality and it breaks very easy the one i got already broke.. Dnt waste ur time nd money look for better quality

Box was not packaged for delivery
Box was not packaged for delivery - ie arrived in its own box with my name and address and postal stickers all over it, and box just a little scratched up. Main issue is the stickers that I can’t remove as it’s a present for my nephew but presentation is a little ruined by that. I’m a in favour of minimising packaging away from Amazon norms of excess, but I’d say this was lacking as I can’t remove them to have to give a present worth postal stickers all over it, which is disappointing. The item lasted one 3 hour 6 year olds party after which most of the rockets were at least partially broken. The rest of it was fine. It’s okay but pretty flimsy and non-eco (being a plastic product with limited use). It was quite fun when worked - the kids enjoyed it.

Best toy ever!
Awesome gift! This is my go to birthday gift for 4/5 year olds! My son loves his, I also got one for his friends birthday, and will be ordering more for upcoming birthdays. Hint: the small blue nerf darts fit in it too! My son loves launching his darts with it. Highly recommend! Great price, fast shipping, fun product!

Lots of fun
I bought this to use when the grandkids come around and we weren't disappointed, the kids loved helping get the rockets setup and ready for blast off, then they loved jumping on the soft plastic bubble to launch their rockets, its a sturdy item, I guess it has to be with all the jumping up and down on it to blast off, good value and long lasting until your rockets go over the fence into next doors garden.

Fun toy for energetic kids
Still going strong after a year of use and getting bashed about in a toy box. 3 year old had no trouble stomping the rocket, needed some help loading rocket at times if excited. Rockets withstood fair amount of abuse but fins need protection. Works as described. Kids had to run to get the rocket and settle to put it on the base so some added play value.

Go for regular size rockets, not mini
The stand is sturdy; the rockets are not durable. One rocket broke on first use. Also, the step is tiny; so, it doesn't fill with much air and the rockets cannot fly that high.
