Mythfly Large Cat Door with 4 Way Locking Cat Flap Door, White Pet Door Kit for Kitten & Small Dog 4 Way Locking: ①Fully Locked - Turn Red and Green switches to both sides, pet is prevented from entering or exiting house. ②In Only - Turn Red and Green swithes to right side, pet is allowed to enter house, but prevent from exiting house. ③Out Only - Turn Red and Green switches to left side, pet is allowed to exit house but prevent from entering house. ④Fully Open - Turn Red and Green switches to middle, pet can leave and exit any time. How to Install? 1. Draw outline on the door Draw the cat door frame on a paper board and cut it down. Use a pencil draw around the edge of the cut paper on the door you want to be fixed to. 2. Cut out a tunnel hole First, you'd better drill holes in the corners of the outline. To do this is for cutting out the whole block of tunnel hole with a saw. 3. Wrap the tunnel hole After the tunnel hole is cut out, it's better to wrap around it with a layer of wood skin. And if your hole is cutting a little big, it's quite neccessary. 4. Cut depth if necessary If the cat flap door is too thick for the door you want to be fixed to, use a scissors, saw or cutting machine to cut along the line A or B as shown. 5. Mount to the door Mount the cat flap with double-side tape to the door. 8 Screws have been provided for your use, tighten them with a screwdriver on both sides. 6. Done Place screw caps to screw holes, press them on. The assembling process is then completed perfectly. What's in the box? 1 * Large Cat flap door 8 * Screws 8 * Screw caps 1 * Installation instructions

Great For Keeping Dogs Out
I got this for my mom because her dogs would go into her room and eat all the cat food. She has medium to small sized dogs that were too large to fit through this door. We placed it 4-6 inches from the bottom of the door rather than it meeting the floor. The cats jump through it perfectly and it worked perfect for what we needed it for.

Work exactly as I needed it.
This cat door is awesome. I rescued a one year old cat from our local animal shelter and had the cat door installed into a six panel steel insulated door from our laundry room into our garage where the cat litter tray is located. We taped the door wide open for a week or so, then slowly kept lowering it for the next couple weeks. We then coaxed her through the closed door with special treats a couple times and, voila, she's been using it ever since. It's quiet and it's nice that she can see through it. I would definitely recommend this product.

AVOID. This Is Very Cheap, Leaky Garbage
I know what I am talking about because i am a professional builder. This pet door is very badly & cheaply designed garbage designed to leak and even fall off your door: #1 it's designed backwards #2 its not energy efficient because it has cracks all around the weather stripping on the flap #3 it will will likely leak rain in as well. #4 cheap fastening hardware cannot secure this junky product to most doors.Details the weather seal around the door doesn't touch the frame, leaving gaps all the way around, so it's an energy waster. But that isn't all. The flap that doesn't weather seal is on the OUTSIDE frame (the one with the weather seal to the door around the hole) instead of on the inside, where it would be recessed away from the weather and less vulnerable;e to rain leakage.which means that slanted or horizontal rain can get in VERY EASILY.and the fasteners are 8, 4 from each side. the problem with this is that MOST DOORS are essentially hollow, with insulation or even cardboard beneath thin veneers of wood or metal and cannot be fastened to, especially not by these TINY thin cheap screws! My door, LIKE MOST DOORS, is essentially hollow with just insulation inside and not suitable at all to fasten anything to. THAT'S WHY DOOR KNOBS COME WITH SCREWS LONG ENOUGH TO GO THROUGH DOORS AND INTO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE KNOB! DUH!! But even if the screws were more robust, the other half of the frame doesn't have threaded holes or integrated nuts to catch and screw in and properly sandwich the the door with the frame.I would devise my own mounting solution, such as buying the proper length screws and nuts and still use this product EXCEPT THAT IT'S BADLY DESIGNED,BACKWARDS AND LEAKY which I cannot think of a solution for. even if I find and am able to find and install better weather stripping on the flap or the frame to fill the cracks between the frame and flap, there's still the problem of the flap being on the outside ,flush with the door surface instead of recessed from the outside LIKE IT SHOULD BE.

Very easy operation and installation
I was so sick of hearing my cat's for about a half hour every night scratching at the door. Now they can go in and out at their own Leisure things to my cat flap door. You can even lock the door are you can leave it open whichever you choose I really like that option about it.

Door glides don't stay in place
I installed this door pretty easy and it looks nice. Unfortunately the glides that keep the door locked or unlocked won't stay in place. My dogs just moving through the door, move glides that keep the door in the proper position, so they get locked out or locked in. This door accommodates up to 15 lbs. My dogs are only 7 lbs. So its no like they're squeezing though the door and shifting the glides.

My cat learned to use the door right away.
I installed this on an interior door separating the finished and unfinished sides of the basement. The installation was straight forward. Since this door would be used to access the litter box I didn't want my kids to be able to lock the door, so I removed the locking clip with a screwdriver. Our cat pawed at the door once or twice and then went right through it.The magnet really works and keeps the door in closed default position.

Not for strong cats
Not for average size doors or strong active cats. I purchased two of these with the intention of mounting one on an exterior door and one on an interior door. The included screws are not long enough to reach through to secure the two halves. You will need to make a trip to a well supplied hardware store to complete the install. As luck would have it I did not have a need to use the locks as they are very flimsy and break easily. My 20lb cat went through the door like the lock was not even there.

Cheap product. Do Not Buy
This plastic product is very cheaply made.I would have returned if the handyman didn’t go through all the hassle of chiseling the opening to make it fit.My dog go in and out too much for it to last any time. So I may as well buy a replacement door now.Another thing is the lock move easily and my dog keeps locking his self out. I had to put tape on it to prevent from moving.I would not recommend this product at all.
