David the Shepherd Paracord Shepherd Sling (Old-Fashioned Slingshot) Handmade

Very durable and my dad loves it.

There are two cords. Put the loop of the loop bearing cord over your index finger. Put the knot on the other cord between your index and middle finger. Spin vertically. When ready to release, separate your index and middle fingers. I made my own sling when I was a kid. This is better. Takes a 1" river rock easily, a one pound lead fishing weight can stun a deer at 10 yards. I picked up on using it first try, but I practiced as a kid with my homemade sling for months.

This was a very nice slingshot, delivered quickly, and it looks exactly like the photos. Communication with the owner of the company was excellent: responses to my queries were quick and direct, and he went out of his way to explain the banding procedure in answer to my concerns. I can highly recommend both the product and the company, especially the owner!

I would have rated it higher, but the basket is way too stiff.I have used slings for years hunting small game.This particular one is so stiff, it retains the projectile occasionally.I will keep it for training purposes.

This is a well made sling, I look forward to plonking seed dirtballs around with it.

Came quickly and everything looked the way it should. I've been practicing at home and at church with foam golf balls. It's a blast, but I can tell it's going to take a lot of practice to even be decent with it! The church staff and youth group want me to order more so that we can all practice together. Great product!
