Best and only stuff that works for me when I get a cold sore or the beginnings of sun poisoning on my lip. At the first sign of either I get a little tingling sensation, apply the tanac a couple times per day and it prevents a complete outbreak. I love this stuff and buy it again every time I run out. Nothing else works as well.

We always had a bottle of Tanac in the medicine cablnet when I was a kid. Why? Because it worked. It still does. It's the best thing I know of for cold sores. I was so happy to find it here on Amazon.

Just like the label says, nothing beats TANAC Liquid for quick relief and fast healing of canker and cold sores, fever blisters and gum irritations. I've used this stuff for years, and it really works! The brands currently available in drug stores don't begin to compare. Highly recommended.

This is the best product we have ever tried to lessen cold sore pain. This over the counter product lessens the pain as well as hastening the healing time. Hard if not impossible to find in stores. Thanks Amazon.

Best product we have found to help with canker sores.

I had high hopes for Tanac based on reviews that praised it saying that it doesn’t sting and that it was “better than anything else”. My exoerience: It is no better than Anbesol. Neither last very long to ease the pain of canker sores. Neither soothe. Both hurt and sting when putting on. Also note Tanac only comes as a liquid which makes it messier to use.
