Works very well, I've bounced my Samsung S9 off the floor several times, the phone is in perfect shape. I would recommend it.

This is a tighter fit than the competition and and much better value!!! Equal phone protection for a fraction of the cost!!!

UPDATE: I've used the plastic stand a few times and it already doesn't work anymore. If you're purchasing to use the clip you're fine but the stand is basically worthless, at least on the cover I received. I an lowering the rating because of this.I purchased this for my Samsung s9+. First I took me a bit to figure out how to get the case on as the phone did not just press or snap into the case and there were no instructions included. You have to remove the outer rubber covering. on the back of the plastic covers are arrows pointing to the locations of the holding tabs, undo the tabs holding the two plastic inner pieces together then put in the phone, snap the plastic pieces together again (make sure all the "securing" tabs are securely locked back in) then put the soft plastic rubber casing back on. The plastic inner pieces were not flush with I snapped them back together and there was a bit of a gap in places so I have a feeling if you drop the case it may split open. I am glad I did not buy a screen protector because I don't think the case would have fit over the phone.The case adds some weight and heft to the phone. which some may not keen on so much. The black cover with clip snaps over the front so the phone screen is covered. The clip does not appear to be removable. The top and bottom edges are raised to help protect these sides of the phones but the sides are flush so using it with the black cover is a must if you truly want to protect your screen. The clip on the black cover is also the stand. If you open the clip and push it upward it will click into a tab to hold it open so it can act as a stand. It is not adjustable for different viewing angles but you can flip it around for a relatively low angle view and also only appears to work horizontally. Not sure how long the bit of plastic holding the tab will last but it works for now. I can still use the fingerprint reader but it's of course not quite as easy as without the case. I purchased the turquoise blue color and now that I look at it I think it will pick up dirt and dust and look grungy after while so you'll probably be cleaning this color more than something a bit darker/neutral. I not sure exactly how secure the clip is. It seems fairly firm but then I just purchased it so be careful if using clip.On the plus side the black cover snaps on and off fairly easily. Rubber tabs cover the charging and earphones ports to help keep dust out. Buttons appear to line up with rubber ones on the case. Rubbery outer shell makes griping phone a bit nicer though I didn't have a problem with the glass coated phone. Since the case is fairly thick over the back it protects the camera and fingerprint reader from scratches when put down on a table or rough surface. I guess would also help protect the phone if there is a small spill though most phones are fairly water resistant these days I feel better if this quality were not tested. Overall I am okay with this cover but wish it were lighter. I guess it's a trade off though if you want a bit more protection.

I was replacing my original Otter Box case from years ago. This case looked like a duplicate of the Otter Box except it was a whole lot cheaper than what I bought from the Verizon store.It would have been really nice if this case had any kind of instructions, but it came with ZERO INSTUCTIONS. I did not know how to get my phone into it. That is until I found another reviewer (Vicki H's review entitled "Hel-lo, a brain can do wonders...", dated January 8, 2021 in the USA). She submitted a couple of pictures showing how to remove the outer cover, and then taking the inner cover apart into its 2 pieces. These were the missing instructions that allowed me to keep this product without returning it to Amazon.Several other reviews also stated that the belt clip does not rotate (even though the advertisements said it did rotate). The truth is, the belt clip does rotate after all, but one has to apply a lot of force to get it to rotate for the first time. After that, it will rotate without much force. But doing it the first time, I thought I was going to break it! (I did not break it!)So, once I found the hint about taking the outer case off the 2-piece inner case, I was able to insert my phone into it, and clamp everything together. It was a perfect fit and seems durable. And now that I figured out that the belt clip does in fact rotate, this is a perfect, less expensive, replacement for the same Otter Box case.

I loved the item itself. My Samsung Galaxy S9 is too small for this item, my phone fell out of it!!!

This phone case was exactly what I was hoping for. There were a lot of comments about it being difficult to install the phone into, but as mentioned by those that understood how to do it, it wasn't a big deal. Once you remove the rubber outer case, the inner polycarbonate case separates in two halfs that encase the phone. Then you install it into the rubber exterior case. It actually fits so well that the buttons work very easily. Without being installed in the belt clip case, it works perfectly on the wireless charger in the car. When installed into the belt clip case, you can rotate the clip if you wish, and you can lock the clip open so it becomes a stand for watching videos. It has the feel of a very well engineered product.

Durable protection and easy to grip. I love the flat design and the ability to charge wirlessly without removing the case. Belt clip is strong and easy to use. I don't understand how the belt clip on the back of the holster case rotates to provide a stand as shown in the picture - as mine is fixed in a horizontal position. But I don't really mind - still worth the money and I would recommend this to anyone who moves around the house a lot and needs their phone to stay on their person!

Power button broke after a few weeks of very little use.

Great for my daughters phone to protect it from fall :)
