Great bulb, matches a big-name brand that was 5x the cost.
UL listed for damp locations. If you are planning on an open/unprotected fixture outdoors it needs to have O-rings added under lens, and between heatsink to base. I used 3M 5200 between heatsink and base, and a hardware store O-ring under the lens.Great bulb for the cost. No flickering, or bad starts at low temps temps have been down to -8F and they were reliable. Beam is very narrow. Puts much light in a small area. Perfect for what I needed. kill-a-watt is showing a constant 19w and 19.25 on the bulbs I received. Runs at a low temp for a bulb in this output range. Matches the output, and quality of a big-name 39$ bulb in same fixture. These have a heavy alloy heatsink body, there is a considerable weight to the fixture, and if you have some 4$ cheapo plastic fixture it is going to struggle to hold them at horizontal positions. If you need lots of light in a narrow beam, this is the deal you want.

*super* bright with a super wide flood
This was much heavier than I expected (not a negative, just a surprise). After unpacking and screwing it in, I was eager to see how it performed. Long after turning it on, I'm still seeing spots! This bulb says it's rated at 1200 lumens which is slightly lower than the 1300 or so provided by the 90 Watt halogen bulb I had been using. Also, this bulb has a 100 degree flood, compared to the 51 degree "flood" on the halogen. Despite both of these facts, this bulb seems a lot brighter the the other four halogens that run alongside of it,Also, this bulb says 3k Kelvin, but it seems noticeably cooler than the 2900 Kelvin halogen. I'm pretty finicky about the level of warmth, but it's close enough.Looking forward to seeing how long this lasts.

Finally! An LED worth purchasing. Maybe Not anymore!
This is by far the best LED I've ever purchased. It matches or exceeds what you can get in an incandescent! It has great color, and brightness. It dims gradually like a bulb should. The 100 degree Beam spread is perfect. Almost ever LED bulb I've purchased says 60 degree or even 120 degree, but I've found them to very narrow beams in comparison. Finally, It users less energy and the price is reasonable. I wish they made something similar for MR16 and GUI10 bulbs too!Updated 7/11/14They are still working and these bulbs on a dimmer work amazing well for a LED (on par with incandescents), BUT they only cost me $24.99 NOT $73.07!!! Unfortunately a great product gone bad!

Too wide
Nothing wrong with the bulb however it was too wide to fit our housing. We had to return.

Nice & bright
Bought this to replace a CFB in my bathroom that I was getting tired of the time it took that bulb to get to full brightness. Not a problem with this LED! Just hope that it lasts a long time!
