Dont want to write a bad review as I cant fully say if this item is good or not since I didn't turn out to be the problem with my tablet .I would say if u dont have expert equipment to fit this part you will not be able to do it as the prongs are tiny .Also it might be best to get an expert to check over your device as this may not even be needed .The item looked great and arrived well packaged ontime. The quality seemed really good and if this is what you require it is well priced

Bought so that a repair shop who I was taking my kindle fire to for repair could get it fixed quickly, thanks to my giving them the faulty kindle and the means to repair it, they did the job in 24 hours. Been no problem since.Amazon should redesign all kindles and install a separate and robust charging port on future generations. According to the repair shop the current socket is the weak spot of the machine, and that's backed up with the fact that they are repairing around 3 every week with the same socket problem.Some are only fit for scrap, because the track from socket to circuit board is irreparably damaged.

I mistakenly bought it for a 9th gen kindle 7, thinking it was an older one, it fit okay but the pins didn't come out as far as the port it was replacing (obviously it wasn't designed for that tablet). But it works anyway so I'm happy. 😁

Fine items vut too complex for me to use

I was advised that the picture is there to show both sides of the USB port. There is clearly two in the picture and the description was never clear in stating that you are purchasing one only. Still feel a little bit robbed!

I brought 2 of these to replace my children's charging ports. After following the instructions and changing them over the tablets still don't charge.

Great value it arrived on the day expected.
