We had to jump on the band wagon with metal straws as our youngest daughter is 100% insistent that she is "saving the turtles". We bowed out of the plastic and went with the metal. These are pretty great! I actually like how the straw get really cold when drinking colder beverages. Silicone tips are definitely a plus if you don't like metal hitting your teeth. I was also very grateful that this set came with a brush for cleaning the straws. It's very convenient and easy to clean. You really can't go wrong with this set, especially for the price.

Previously purchased all-silicone straws with brushes. They were easy to clean, but when sucking through them there was an annoying resistance - ie it was harder than it needed to be. Maybe they were collapsing a bit, or maybe it's just the internal friction.Anyway, I'd been hesitant to buy steel straws for fear of metal against my teeth, or poking myself in the eye. :)These with the silicone tips are great. The tips are easy on and off. I love the brush for cleaning.Recommended

Easy to clean (comes with TWO cleaning brushes). Durable and food-safe. Great assortment of sizes and styles of straw, as well as colored silicone tips.It should go without saying, but use caution when using any metallic straw to drink hot beverages as the straw itself will be quite hot.

They are super easy to clean. The silicon ends are easy to slide on as well. They come in many different sizes and angles. I like that a came with a case, two cleaning brushes and extra silicon ends. I will definitely buy again for future gifts.

There are several things that drew me to these straws, in particular. I wanted metal (may get silicone, but wanted metal this round), metal colored (rather than colors, per se), different sizes in same package (but not a bunch!), cleaning brush, carrying bag, tips...all the (current) boxes! I appreciate them coming in a box - for storage at home. Wishes or likes, but not stoppers - having a second cleaning brush, to have one with the bag and one at home, so one is completely dry before each use, and thinking ahead, wear and tear. The second thing - may be available, I have not yet looked - I would like to have a "straight" version in the smaller size - the 0.24 inches. And, I guess there is a number three....information about purchasing replacement cleaning brushes and tips, when too much wear and tear. Again, thinking ahead! Thank you.

The straws are very easy to clean with the brush that was included. There is no metal taste and the tips fit snugly to the straw. I use the straws mainly for smoothies so I use the large size. My only recommendation on the set would be to have a slightly shorter straw, but these serve their purpose.

Easy to clean. Will last forever. I use it in an stainless insulated cup. It never leaves my home. Thus it can never be lost or misplaced!
