Dremel EZ407SA EZ Drum Sanding Band and Mandrel

Love it. So much easier than the old style drum mandrill.

Item is accurately defined and showed up very fast.

Works good for awhile but if you constantly use it the bands won't stay on after awhile. Mine slide on it and there is no way to keep them on. I use this with sanding drums to do dog nails.

I find it really, really difficult to release the sanding drum to install another. I suspect by the time I find it easier to change, the drum will start slipping like other reviewers have commented on. This is one purchase that I regret despite the overall high ratings. In hindsight, I wish I had just purchased a second plain mandrel and had dedicated mandrels for each of the grit drums I use regularly.

Best deemed top for Sanding ever, for real. So easy to change sanding drums now literally less than 5 seconds just pull up remove and replace drums and push down good to go,no more screwing and unscrewing a tiny screw with a terrible screwdriver at the end of a tiny wrench,definitely recommended!

All these years why did I wait? I will be ordering more.

I hate Dremel or Proxxon mini drum sanders that require a small screwdriver, mini washers and mini screws, and the wasted time it takes to put on sanding discs. This Dremel quick change discs is my new BFF and I've ordered six more, and discarded the old screw type disks. I saved the rubber discs for other projects, but this quick change system should get 10 stars out of 5

If you have used a drum sander you know what a pain it is to change the drum. The screw never seems to release the drum enough to slip the sander pepper off the drum. With this accessory you just pull the drum up and off comes the sandpaper! Great!!!
