Perfect companion to the workbooks

The sequence of introducing phonemes (sounds that letters and blends make) is beautifully graphically illustrated on this poster for classroom (or homeschool) display. The authors of the Jolly Phonics program laid this out in a way that children (or beginning ESL readers of any age) can learn the new sounds in clustered groups. The first level (top line) allows a learner to blend and read 60 to 70 English words right away. The possibilities increase as each letter or sound unfolds. The CD of songs is available to buy, or is on YouTube, as are videos of the gesture/ motion that is taught with each letter. This poster serves to remind learners of the sounds they know.
