The Wild Unknown Archetypes Deck and Guidebook

As a psychology student, this deck immediately stood out to me. The archetypal themes feel deeply intuitive and psychologically rich, making it ideal for reflection, shadow work, and self-exploration. The artwork is striking and emotionally evocative, and the guidebook is detailed without being overwhelming. Beautifully made cards in a large, sturdy box. This is a deck I genuinely connected with and love using.

This deck is a perfect companion to The Wild Unknown Tarot and the other oracles from Kim Krans’s collection. The card quality is excellent, and as my first round deck, I truly enjoyed the experience of working with it! One thing to note: because the cards are round, overhand shuffling is likely the best method, as riffle shuffling can be tricky with this shape. The included guidebook is incredibly helpful, providing valuable insights that really deepen your understanding of the deck’s imagery. Honestly, without the guidebook, I would have missed much of the meaning behind the cards.

This deck is absolutely beautiful! It come in a quality box with an inner box for the cards. The book is well written and fascinating and offers a unique perspective re working with oracle cards. I'd say these are more for an experienced reader and invite curiosity, synchronicity and self reflection. They're not designed to provide simplistic answers.

Amazing deck the artwork and descriptions are mind blowing.

I read the reviews about how the cards were awkward, sticky, and/or unattractive graphically and bought them anyway... and I LOVE THEM. Maybe my hands are larger than the average user but it feels like these cards were made for me and they shuffle and spread easily once they're broken in. The level of detail in the packaging is SO high quality. The amount of information on the Archetypes, using the cards, and their influence is par none. -There's 59 pages! The multi-levels of depth for reading the cards was really well thought out and allows me to use the cards whether my brain is hyper-focused or a virtual whirlwind, whether I've got an hour or just 3 minutes, and definitely allows the cards to be used by anyone who is new to reading cards or has loads of experience. I can already tell that this is one of those decks that becomes like an old friend... One who still has a couple secrets up their sleeve even after years of knowing them. Absolutely worth the purchase.

So glad to finally get the legal product rather than the copied one sold by a less reputable and reliable seller. Very happy to have the better quality cards and the proper Guide Book. I love working with these cards and find their energy quite powerful. I E also bought the more recently released Alchemy Deck. As for the shape and size of the cards, there is more than one way to shuffle, I think it adds to the uniqueness of the decks which are different to standard Tarot and other Oracle Decks. Until you work with the energy of the cards I guess you may not appreciate this. I also think it's tragic that copyright in other countries allows people to rip off the work of the creator. Having said that, getting them at the lower prices is what got me attached to these cards. I guess the creator does well to hold back their Guidebook.

These cards are truly beautiful and inspiring. There is much depth and meaning to be found in their use. Please make them again with conventional rectangular shaped cards - round cards are hard to handle and very difficult to shuffle. I shall continue to use them even so ...

I have all of Kim Krans’ decks, they are a delight to use, beautifully illustrated and impart so much wisdom. This one is no different. The archetypes have always fascinated me, I studied Jung so this was a ‘have to buy’ deck as soon as she announced its release. I always love the books that come with her decks as they not only tell you a little about the cards but give you an insight into her own story, she writes beautifully haunting prose which is almost poetic at times and is very much my style. Her illustrations are beautiful too, so much love and work has gone into every single card, it’s clear to see. I waited a long time for these cards and they were certainly worth the wait, I’ve used them a lot and can see that they’ll be a favourite for years to come. Order them, seriously they tell you so much and the more you use them the deeper the meanings become, and of course, Archetypes are so very personal to each of us and are changing all the time. Magical!

Wow! Prepare yourselves because I have much, much to say about this deck. It’s beautiful. And I feel beautiful & clear from experiencing everything about it. When I took it out of my Amazon packaging I felt the shake. When I unwrapped the plastic, then slid the box from its sleeve, then saw what was sitting inside… I was so moved by the presence and the introduction I was having with this deck that I couldn’t even pull the cards out. This is something that I wanted to take my time with. It’s like I was slowing down and not only that but somehow it flipped on me. I started taking my time with me… There is much to be said about art. There is also much to be said about beings who do not hold out in or on their work. And Ms. Kim did not come to play. And at the same time, she did. The boxing and the packaging is beautiful and particular. It’s set up in a way where I feel like she did this for herself. And gave it TO the rest of us as a gift. And I am happy that she did. There are many on here pointing out the waste of trees from her packaging. Which I find very odd, considering paper is made from cotton not trees. Hence why they call your toilet paper and paper towels cotton. Not wood. Many of you have researching to do. I feel as though this deck will trigger many and spark few. The complaints about the packaging is just a reflection of something triggered. Which is okay. Because every once and a while we need messiness and chaos to play in. As I walked my way through the deck, I took my time. I went through every card. Sat with every thought. Enjoyed every word. The card stock is smooth and fits in my hands . The circular effect of the cards deepens the draw to them for me. It’s like it wants you to turn them. Change your perspective. Embrace the view. Know that chance and fate can come from any number of angles. And what I really love is how I can step into the artwork. I love the wonkyness. The pictures force you to stop and go “interesting” or “whoa” or “wow” or “this is amazing!”. It’s like she didn’t have an expectation for us to have. She just wanted people to step into a world. Any world. And the world held space for them to do so. What you seek to call it is up to you. The wordplay about the cards… are enchanting. I’m a poet so words are my first go to. I need to know if someone is putting soul into their words. But this deck, it only shows the words from the soul you pour into it. Kim’s energy is here. Her spiritual presence can be felt. Her statements are clear, powerful, and warm. But the way they connect me to my own presence. I just don’t know how to describe this. It’s me experiencing me without an expectation. It’s like I’m sitting along a river bank and watching my reflection and at the same time, I know the water is moving and the reflection is changing to be part of the new current. I love this. It makes the deck come full circle! I had no idea what to expect. Actually, upon purchasing this I didn’t expect anything… I was just excited to finally buy it for myself. And now, that I have… ✨wow! Enjoy this deck. If you are drawn to it… truly enjoy it. Feel it. Feel you. Leave reviews to give people a glimpse at what you saw. Because it’s very rare that a deck takes you somewhere and unfolds by way of YOUR journey. This kind of a deck is a moment. No time. It isn’t about the cards. It’s about you. The cards reflect. I worked from the back of the book forward. And currently, I am on the Queen card. I am awestruck at the self-realizations that have occurred for me through EVERY SINGLE CARD. This one in particular has struck me so deep that I had to come update my review from earlier. There’s ‘Go deeper’ additions in the book that inspire or encourage deeper reflection after you’ve read the guidance for the card. And the Queen card asks that you search for Nina Simone’s star performance in 1976 at the Montreux jazz festival. And must I say, how unbounded I became while experiencing the virtual performance of this woman! The depth, the rawness, the forces to be reckoned with in this woman are just not for me to claim in expression! I have no words for what I experienced. It is to be held for each person on their own time. But this just really did something to me and I just… wow. Get the deck. Enjoy all of it. And I wholeheartedly mean that! 💜

Ok, this is by far the best design I've seen in an oracle deck. Just beautiful with the graphics, collage elements, and watercolor highlights. Great Guidebook. Beautiful, elegant packaging. The round cards with diamond graphics are a knockout!

I love this deck but not the card stock. The cards are matte and ‘buttery’ soft, causing them to stick together in clusters when shuffling. The cards are also quite large and round, which makes shuffling even more difficult. It would have been much better if the card stock was the same as the Wild Unknown Spirit Animal deck. That card stock is really great. For this reason, I also bought the pocket deck. It has the same card stock as the Wild Unknown Spirit Animal deck, which makes shuffling the smaller cards so much easier.

This deck is the gift that keeps giving. I use it as a spread for the year ahead. Spot on ! Also the quest spread..amazing. I'm not a big fan usually of the guidebook that come with decks. This one however is exceptional. It's a honest deck and it requires you to be honest with yourself. Great for shadow work which really does bring the light into the situation at hand. A thorough , insightful deck that makes you seek further. Highly recommend for inner work and the artwork is beautiful.A stunning deck with heart and soul.

It’s really great deck to have in your collection beautifull card stock with great quality box lovely presentation of the box magnetic closure and inside you will find round box too love the artwork Kim krans book is well written. Am happy to have it. But yes this deck is not for everyone Because of collage artwork. It depends
