These weren't too bad this past winter for warmth. The palms held up pretty good to the tow rope. There was some wear damage but not enough to interfere with the functionality.

I didn't like that you can't tuck the warmer into a separate section, but these mittens kept my hands really warm and I was able to wear them skiing without any problems.
