Extreme value for money. They light the tank well and are great for growing all types of plants. I have stem plants, carpeting plants and floating plants.

Perfect light at that price. You can grow most of the plants, this light is very bright. If it's not enough u can buy second one and it still gonna be much cheaper than branded one's. It looks we'll, very nice aluminium cover. Will se for how long it will lasts. I'm waithing for RGB one as bright as this one and if the price still stay low that will be a perfect planted fish tank light. I bought it as a spear light till I get the main one but because is good enough I just bought second one and all my plant's, including carpets are in a perfect condition and growing rapidly. U won't find anything better than this cheap light.

Have to edit my review the light was ok but never ordering anything from all pond solutions again ordered a hob-500 and this light the hob filter was fualty broke my tank and flodded my carpet And Not one of them have been bothered to reply or even email about this incident due to there fualty products. It killed my fish shattered my tank and flodded my carpet. And messed up a perfectly good tank Anyone who needs aquarium supplies. Avoid Spend the extra and buy decent stock elsewhere Because of a £30 filter ive got to spend over £300 worth of damage cost. When it should be them as it was there crappy product that caused this mess Not happy fuming its been 3 days and not one person has contacted me. Sort it out !!!!

Got recommended this light from a community page, then followed a link left by MD fish Tanks on youtube, so was expecting something good, but didn't realise how good!!

Do not recommend.Absolutely shocking for growing plants. Very intense light at the top of the water causes algae growth. Leaves and carpeting plants in the lower half of the aquarium will simply perish.This light also doesn't promote any kind of colours to 'pop' in either plants or fish. Very disappointed.

I bought this to replace an old Juwel hood which had an aging T8 tube and a broken end cap. The T8 was giving poor light and plants weren't doing well so I went for this as a replacement. This light fits the 60cm tank well and is much cheaper than any of the big name brands. It looks smart, gives good light (the plants seem to like it) and the mechanism to clamp it to the side of the tank is sturdy enough. Most of the LEDs are white with a few blue ones (which seems to be the norm for cheaper LED strips. It could probably have a better spectrum range (some red LEDs would help there) for plants but if you aren't growing anything too demading then it should be fine. Delivery was quick too and very easy to put together.

Been in use now for a number of months and had zero issues. Plant growth has been healthy even on a 5 hour timer. Build quality is also pretty sturdy and the metal shroud helps with heat dissipation. Overall a great light.

Absolutely love this light, it’s only been on my tank for two days and I can already see improved growth in my plants, for the price point it’s well made, easy to assemble and looks great on a rimless tank, fast dispatch too, highly recommended
