I used this book for a web design class I took in college, and it is perfect. I would normally never review a textbook, but it really is wonderful. It comes with downloadable materials, and makes everything super simple. Its super important to choose the right book, because you are essentially leaning a new language. 10/10 Perfect.

The book is used in my college class. It is fine. It covers timeless fundamentals well, but some minor things they cover feel a little "out of style." Overall a very good book and I would recommend for beginners.

This is an excellent book for students learning web design. The author explains the code, shares best practices, has an abundance of resources and tools to use for web design. Naturally, with the passing of time, some links change, so you will need to test the link. A very thorough book that covers JavaScript, domain names, e-Commerce, etc.

I don’t like spending money on book

I'm using the book for a course in web development. I haven't had to use the additional instructional videos yet, since the book is very clearly laid out. Buy it new bcuz you need the code for access to the site. If you buy used you'll have to pay for a code. Although, I haven't needed access yet, but it's still early in the course. This book is also used in the 2nd web development course I'm taking in the Spring.

Don't make the mistake I did and destroy to resale value of your book by using the access code to download files to use in the exercises throughout the textbook! They can all be downloaded WITHOUT signing up/entering a code. The only thing the access code gets you is some extremely basic in (at least for me) entirely pointless tutorial videos.Overall, I thought it was a good, understandable textbook with helpful exercises.

I purchased this Used - Good condition book. The interior of the book is excellent. It has no markings, writing, or highlights. The exterior of the book has a few "used book" stickers and there is some peeling on the front and back cover. For the price that I paid, it's exactly what I need and I am very satisfied with my purchase.
