BL1860B Replacement Battery Compatible with18V Battery Lithium Ion

Love these batteries! I was a bit skeptical but decided to try these - so much cheaper than Makita brand. They fit my tools and charge just fine and I've run my impact all day on one battery. Can't speak to longevity yet but at this time I'm extremely pleased!

I was shocked when I received the two 6Ah 18v batteries and they were not Makita brand since it appeared identical in the picture (less the Makita logo that I didn't notice until I held them in my hand). So I suspected the worst but charged them anyway being wary of a fire starter situation. To my surprise they worked fine and have held a charge like the real deal. I probably missed the lack of the work Makita in the product details, shame on me. I got lucky this time. So far. BTW the second battery would not charge in my older 120v charger so I tried it in a much newer one and it charged fine.

Ordered 2 batteries. Only one battery fit into the Makita double charger with some force required, then after a few minutes of charging was reported as defective and battery was hot. The second battery somewhat fit in the Makita single charger then almost immediately was reported defective. Neither battery fit well into the Makita blower or drill. Product clearly is not compatible and is not worth any amount of money.

The batteries are well built and looks almost identical to the name brand units. They take a good charge and seem to have slightly more power than the original batteries. However they are definitely not 6ah batteries. They are smaller in size and have less power and run time than the Makita brand 5ah batteries. That being said, the pair of these are cheaper than one of the Makita 3ah batteries so, I would still chalk them up as a good deal.

I waited six months before writing a review because I wanted to use these batteries for a while to evaluate their performance. Both of them still have 50% of the first charge after a decent amount of use. I don't know about long term battery life, but as for charge retention and capacity, they are as good or better than the originals. I would definitely buy them again.

the batteries worked like a charm in all of Makita items, but failed to take a charge after just nine months.We are not professionals, just DIY. Drill, impact, saw, leaf blower. And…We do use them in our kids power wheel toys- so they get used/charged often. 1-2x week.They last 45minutes solid in small power wheel toys. Weeks for off in use by the kids.

I was skeptical about getting these but thought 🤔What the heck, I’ll give em a try.Pleasantly surprised 👍👍They worked great and at a much better price point than the oem batteries

I have been using these batteries on a Makita blower for about 3 months. They charge easily on the Makita charger. Interesting the fan turns off when they are charged but on a Makita 3AH battery the fan keeps running. I am convinced these batteries would last 45 minutes to an hour on the blower. I would buy these again.
