Fit true to size and comfortable in the foot with regular socks (order a 1/2 size up if you'll be wearing thick socks with these regularly). HOWEVER, I tried these on 3 separate times and walked around the living room (carpeted) for a few minutes each time. I know Timberland makes sturdy, quality boots BUT the material is stiff/hard and my ankles were SO SORE after each time (even with the "leather padding trim"), particularly from the tongues stabbing the front of my ankles. I just CANNOT wear these......have no choice but to return!
