I purchased this to give to my daughter-in-law as a beach gift, along with a handmade tote. I wanted it to be ready for immediate use, so per suggestions I saw on-line, I washed it twice to soften it (cold water, gentle). I dried it on the lowest setting. It puckered where the white threads go through the blue, so looks like it needs ironing. It just doesn't look good enough to give as a gift, and cost too much for the end result. I'll use it, but really wish I could return it instead but can't because, well, I washed it. Another thing to note is that as you shop for foutas, you'll notice some are significantly larger than others. This is a smaller one, which I thought would be okay, but after washing it see that it really isn't. Pay the extra money and get the larger fouta. This one would be okay for a child, but not an adult.

This was much thinner than other Turkish towels that I have. There is no "terry" side at all. The towel is a woven cotton fabric more like a dish towel than a bath towel.

I've taken this one to the beach a few times this year to use as a blanket to lay out on. It's great because it's so big and really nice and soft. I was worried about some of the reviews saying it shrunk in the wash but I've washed and dried it several times so far with no issues! I'd definitely buy this again

I thought this would be a cool shawl when I'm traveling in a plane, but the fabric is too stiff and looks like I'm wearing a table cloth, especially with the long fringe on the ends. I think it is a cute shawl for the beach, where it could also be used as a blanket. Other than that, I won't be wearing this. I'll probably use it as a table cloth for breakfast on my balcony.

My favorite kind of beach towel. I fly to the beach each year carrying only a backpack. This towel takes up much less space in my bag than a regular terry beach towel, I can pack 2 of these in less space than 1 terry beach towel!! Absorbent and dries quickly. With every wash, it becomes softer and more absorbent.

This is NOT an authentic linum lucky towel, it’s a counterfeit/fake item. Real ones are thin and soft and are packaged with a hand made evil eye bead that’s tied with raffia. This was scratchy/cheap and packaged in a plastic bag. I will definitely be returning this.
