I was looking for a softer alternative to porcelain bowls, and these fit the bill. They're dishwasher safe and long-lasting. Like the bowls a lot. They looked dull, for some reason color wise dull. I have received different size bowls last week and they had a nice sheen. So I rubbed a little  olive oil on them and now they look new and like the rest of the set. Ordered the yellow and I’m pleased. Hmmm.
