Taking 2 of these softgels every night for 4 months finally got my Vitamin D levels up to the right level. I used prescription vitamin D and other over-the-counter brands for 2 years prior and none made any difference in my levels on regular blood tests. This product is very strong and you really shouldn't take it everyday unless you are being closely monitored with frequent blood tests. The combination of the 5000IU (max daily upper limit is 4000IU) and the coconut oil significantly increasing absorbtion makes this supplement incredibly strong. There are special fats in coconut oil that escort vitamin D across the gut lining into the blood very well, making it much better absorbed than other cheaper D3 supplements. I took it everyday for 90 days and it pushed my blood levels of vitamin D to problematic levels. So yeah just take it once every 3 days to avoid getting too much vitamin D, because getting too much vitamin D is definitely possible and is a quite unpleasant experience. The supplement itself is of high quality, it's just extremely potent! If you took one capsule every 3 days then this bottle would last you a whole year which is a fantastic deal.
