Photographer's Guide to the Leica C-Lux: Getting the Most from Leica's Compact Digital Camera Paperback – December 14, 2018

The official manual is short, poorly-written, and dense. This is a an order of magnitude better by being thorough and step-by-step explanation of the controls and including examples that make it easier to understand the basic functions and controls. Thus, it helps familiarize a new owner with the camera and feel comfortable using it.

Thorough and easy to understand. There is a lot to learn about this camera and the tiny manual that comes with the camera only scratches the surface of what this camera can do and how to do it. And it tells you WHY you make a certain choice.

Substantially better explanations and organization than the Owner’s manual. In addition to being an operating manual for this camera, this book also provides guidance on using the camera in different situations, which is helpful for beginners.

Mostly a rehash of what’s in the CL manual. I was hoping for a bit more in depth shooting suggestions.I also had an issue with extending the ISO settings, but couldn’t find the answer in the book or manual. I finally just had to figure it out on my own.

De Leica C-Lux is gebaseerd op de Panasonic TZ200. De afbeeldingen in dit boek zijn zoals de auteur aangeeft gedeeltelijk van de C-Lux maar de kwaliteit van die afbeeldingen doet afbreuk aan de opmaak van het boek. Daarom teruggezonden en slechts 3 sterren als beoordeling.

Don’t bother adds little value to the 300 page pdf available from Leica.The discrimination of the various functions are poor and the navigation options on the camera are frequently missing. Frustrating.
