his is my first satnav, I did a lot of research beforehand to find one of the best budget satnavs around and this seems to be it! Clear display, really intuitive for new users like myself and so easy to set up and get going. A few times, I've deviated from the 'planned' route and it is quick to recalculate an alternative route to your destination based on your new direction. There are really helpful diagrams of complex junctions, and helpful commands telling you which lane to be in at junctions or if any lanes turn off the desired route. Battery life is disappointing, but this seems to be an issue across these kind of products. In essence, for all journeys that are far enough away to warrant needing satnav directions, you'll need to plug in to a usb port or cigarette lighter. I've used my car cigarette lighter with the provided power converter which works a treat. The touchscreen is good enough, but not quite as sensitive as phone screens I'm used to - sometimes takes longer to type things out than I would like. It seems to pick up car parks/restaurants/shops very well, and receives updates via a desktop app which is simple and easy to use. I'm impressed with the speed camera and speed limit information which is kept up to date with temporary limits and mobile camera areas around roadworks, and has a good live speed function. Fantastic handset for the price, I don't feel like I'm missing anything from it, look no further - it does everything you need

I had tomtom brand in past and this one is far better.Easy to install in your car either on the windscreen or the dashboard, i personally installed on the dashboard and it has maps for UK and Europe and come with latest map update. and voice recognition.I often travel to Europe and it is a fuss with the phone and satnav or even tomtom cable hanging around, i had it fix once now wont be coming off. Quality wise it is quiet sturdy .A good product for half the price of tomtom.Thanks amazon

This is very good Sat Nav with great quality. It navigates great, and recalculates the route very fast if you take a wrong exit. The screen is huge which is a added advantage. I couldn't get route options when I typed in Post Code and was wondering why. Then read the description properly to know that we will have to type the Post Code in Town field and boom. It worked like a charm. Sound is great. Informs well in advance. Clearly showing on which lane you should be. Speed cams alert. Full battery comes for almost 2 hrs. Can't complain. Happy customer.

 Bought this to use in the family car and have already done a few long drives through the Midlands and Nottingham to Cardiff and it's been great.It worked straight out of the box, but had loads of customizable options for how it works and what is displayed.It's very simple to use with a large bright screen and good guidance including clear lane guidance with pictures, it even shows a picture when travelling through a tunnel and estimates your position in it until the Sat signal comes back.It's not immediately obvious but it does work with postcodes by entering them in the Town area on the screen, but this is explained in the instruction manual.We found the sound is loud enough for motorway driving but it also has an FM option that allows you to tune it in to your car radio so all alerts will come from you car speakers.The mount has a quick release bracket so that the display can be unclipped and taken with you or hidden away when parked.There is also optional clip on sunscreen something I've not seen elsewhere, which not only stops glare on the screen during the day but prevents glare from the display on the windscreen at night.Overall I'd have to recommend it for value and features.

I bought this sat nav after purchasing a new car that didn’t have it built in. The screen size is just right at 7 inches and fits perfectly on my window without being too obstructive. The mount/suction cup was included along a usb cable and cigarette lighter charger. It was easy enough to install and I had it up and running in around 15 minutes. There plenty of length in the included charger wire to run down my dashboard and along to the cigarette lighter. General navigation of the system is easy enough to understand and you can save favourite locations which I have done. The touchscreen responds as it should and the picture quality is bright and clear. I’ve done about 4 routes so far and it appeared to calculate the best way to go each time. It’s worth noting that you have to enter the post code into the TOWN section for the system to find your route but now that I know I never have a problem. There’s plenty memory included at 8GB But this can be expanded to 32GB. I’ll probably look into expanding the memory at a later date as the lifetime map update may require extra memory in the future. Exactly what I was looking for. Would recommend!
