Apple Late-2018 MacBook Air with Core i5, 13-inch, 8GB RAM, 256GB (Renewed)

I was so so soooo hesitant at first due to the mixed reviews , but when I tell you all that this laptop is PERFECT ! i’m a communications student in college and I have a lot of software that I need for editing, and this laptop can handle it all so well ! From web design, editing , and so much more . The laptop came with a bit of dust on the screen , and only had 2 MINOR scratches on the edges . You literally can’t even tell it’s scratched on the edge unless you’re inspecting it closely. The speakers work so well, and the mic receives sound so well ! It is PERFECT ! Also , the gold is not really “gold” is like rose gold a bit , and I just love the pretty pink color . The laptop also came in FAST , and was fully protected and covered . I highly recommend this seller . I will be back to update in a couple months if everything is still okay or not. So far , so good !

I love this MacBook I got it for college applications this fall and the next few years in college. The laptop looks and feels brand new I haven't noticed a single issue. I would highly recommend.

I have bought refurbished/renewed electronics, for myself and others, from Amazon and other places for years and never had a problem until this transaction. This product was described by the seller as "Renewed - Excellent" but was in Poor condition.The laptop had three very visible scratches on the outside cover, with additional scratches on the Apple logo. Worse yet, the backlit keyboard had MAJOR defects as 4 keys (A, S, E and D) had the letters completely worn off (and were illuminated as unreadable white blobs). Worse yet, a sticker had been haphazardly placed over the top of the D key. Not only was the sticker not even centered on the key, but a sticker on a key of a backlit keyboard disables the backlight functionality for that key. Horrible. I have owned a lot of computers over the years and have never experienced keys wearing off on a keyboard. This thing was either abused or defective from the start. I have two laptops that I use to run my business. Both bought refurbished or used (without being refurbished) and both have been great for multiple years and still have no physical defects despite a lot of travel and heavy use.Overall, VERY disappointing and deserves a 1-star review, only because I cannot give it a zero.I received a return authorization and will be sending it back for a refund. This disappointing experience also resulted in my daughter not having a computer for her first day of high school orientation. I’m buying another one from a different seller today, so at least she will have it for the first day of class next week.There should be some sort of quality control process for allowing sellers to market renewed products under the Amazon name. Maybe there is and this one just slipped through the cracks.Update as of 9/10/24, I have still not received my refund or any communication from Amazon or the seller.

Great quality, all the keys work, the sounds amazing, since it is a 2018 macbook it gives 2018 camera quality. they did send me a bad charger tho but overall it definitely is worth the money. it did come a bit dirty and when charging it does overheat if its being used but the speed of it is amazing, super easy to use. it isn’t touch screen. great for business or school.

10/10 VERY RESPONSIVE AND GOT IT WITHIN 24 hours!!!! No dents at all !! only down side is I didn’t get an actual apple charger or cord it was 3rd party but it works really new and the GOLD looks amazing!!!!

Excellebnt item, i thought for the price it was going to come in really bad shape. to my surprise there is just a few dings on the outside of the screen around the edges but nothing that would make it stop working. Was happy that it was ready to go out of the box charged it last night while setting it up and updating it the latest firmware which is 14.7.6 these are the late 18 models so not compatible with OS15 but i am okay with that. no sense on sending back in a perfectly usable macbook. Over all i am happy with the purchase the screen is in great condition bright and no scratches or dings in glass. Very easy to setup came with a like new power block and cable. Feels very speedy for being few years old i have no reason to comment on slackness,

The media could not be loaded. The laptop overall is clean and very sturdy. The storage runs fine, the sleek design makes it easier to see, and hold and the battery hold on fine. Just one issue, the laptop gets slower over time; I’ve had it for over two weeks now and it’s already acting up. I don’t know if this just apple because my old phone acted the same or specifically the laptop is bad. I bought this because of it cheapness but I realized I was taking a gamble with my money because things could go way worse according to other reviews; although, I plan to keep using it since I already invested into this laptop. I’m sure that I can fix the slowness with apple care or just a few tweaks with my settings.

LOVE this!! This is perfect and for the price, I was nervous because ALL the other bad reviews… but it came PERFECT and I’m so happy I invested in this!! I love my new MacBook!Things I love:- The color! It’s ROSE Gold, NOT gold which I’m even more happy about! I’m so sad Apple stopped making this color. It’s rare!- It can update to the newest os. (which was made May 2025, and it’s currently June 2025, noting that this is a 2018!)- The speakers!! OMG are they loud!! I love them!!The only issues I have are:- recieved with a small dent in the backside screen of the macbook-fan goes on while even just checking my email and I get nervous my MacBook is gonna blow up lol
