Nice size skillet. It’s sturdy. Heats evenly. It holds a lot so one-pan recipes work well in this pan.I really like the glass lid.It cleans nicely. Don’t use metal or you’ll ruin it.Haven’t noticed anything sticking to it.

Cuisinart probably the best cookware products available. This pan is no exception. Easy clean-up, non-stick perfection and very durable. I will only buy Cuisinart.Thank you!

Slightly heavy. Well built frying pan and came with a lid that fit. Can cook about anything in it. Worth the money. Not a flimsy pan

Bought 2 years ago on Amazon but want to give a shout out now 6/29/25.Just watched a cooking show with a chef using the very same pan. Everything stress free cooking.Had the pan 2 years and wanted to say, I use it almost every day. Love the fact the glass lid is dishwasher safe Also.

I was startled by the size of this skillet when it arrived. The extra long pot handle and the lid handle that juts up make it a storage space hog. It takes up a LOT of room in a cupboard.More important is its weight. This is a very heavy pan when empty and without the lid. With food in it and the lid on it became very challenging for me to move from the stove or to lift from the oven. It really does need a small grab handle on the opposite end to make it easier to use two hands to lift it.That said, the skillet does stay level on the stove top and cooks to perfection if you read the instructions that caution you not to use a high heat setting. It would be a 5-star for me if it were not for the cumbersome issue of handling it.I am glad that at least I got the sale price on this skillet. Had I paid $100 I would be very unhappy. I used it once so cannot return it and am disappointed that it just won't work for me. A friend also ordered this skillet and promptly passed it on to someone else because she too could not manage the weight of it.January 26, 2014I'm adding an addendum to my previous review and giving it an extra star. I've actually used this skillet several more times now and although the weight of it and the long handle are still issues I have to say the cooking results are superior and make up for things I don't like about it. There are no "hot spots" where food in some areas overcook while those in other areas don't. I've not used any cooking oil at all and the skillet is a dream to clean up. I've found some storage space for it in the drawer under the oven where we keep cookie sheets. We'll be keeping the skillet but still do caution others about the weight and the super long handle. I definitely could not manage it in the oven but am glad I took the time to test it further before sending it into the "Donate" bin.

As others have already mentioned, this non-stick skillet is very large and very heavy.Which is absolutely fine and no trouble at all.Typical Cuisinart effort and impressive value.I believe if I'm careful with the finish, I'll be able to use this skillet for a very long time.Each time I purchase a product from Cuisinart, I'm a bit more loyal to the brand, because they always return high quality and impressive value in, seemingly, everything they make.Be prepared for a very large, heavy frying pan here, and then.. enjoy it.

EASY TO WASH -- but you have to do it by hand. If you can commit to hand wash and never using oil as the base ingredient this may last you a long time. I am thrilled. It is a very generous size, but you can cook smaller amounts without a problem. Washes up by hand like a dream.

We purchased the Cuisinart 12-Inch Skillet, Nonstick-Hard-Anodized with Glass Cover, 622-30GP1, after we returned a Cuisinart 10-Inch version that advertised a lid but did not come with one. We used it today and it did a great job. The larger size provides more than enough room for several ingredients at one time. It cooked with an even temperature and the lid was very handy. Clean-up was a charm. The surface was so easy to clean - just some warm soapy water, rinse, and dry. We even purchased a new Silicone Cooking Utensils Kitchen Utensil Set to use with our new skillets. My wife is very happy and satisfied with Cuisinart products!
