Great chair for those who need or want to sit up high
I bought this chair because I go to a large number of my son's sporting events and am always getting up and down out of a regular height chair dozens of times each game. I have had 5 major back surgeries and am left with leg weakness and very limited torso mobility and getting up out of a chair was like watching a giraffe stand up from a lying down position. So I chose a high seat position, bar height in this case, so instead of sitting down into a chair and then getting up out of the chair my backside stayed just about the same height whether sitting or standing. A lot easier on the knees, legs and back. The chair seems very well made and sturdy with snug fittings and taut fabric, despite being extremely lightweight for the amount of overall materials involved. No slop in the system at all, no shifting or squeaking or weak arms just waiting to snap off. There is another piece of the same sturdy aluminum frame that folds down from a small velcro lashing to become a cross bar for your feet to help get into and out of the seat -- what I thought was going to be this chair's achilles heel. But no issues of weakness or fear of bending or breaking or tearing it under my 295# weight. Fold up side tray on the right side is sizable and also sturdy and easily locks into place, strong enough to hold a couple full insulated drink glasses or jugs, a couple pro DSLR cameras w big lenses, and a small cooler full of power-ade, ice, and water. A good and sturdy net also is there under the seat at about the height of the foot crossbar so you dont have to put things on the ground that you might not want to get wet of damaged in foot traffic around you. Packs away easily -- just put down the tray and raise and velcro the crossbar, then grab either side of the seat and lift and it all folds down to a flat size of about 4 feet tall by 20 inches front to back by about 6 inches in final collapsed thickness. Comes with a huge zipper cover with a shoulder sling, the cover made out of the same material as the seat, but it is a bit tough to manipulate the big chair into the cavernous cover, so I leave the cover off and just carry the seat by itself. It is surprisingly extremely light for how much aluminum and fabric and fittings go into the chair. Although the chair was not cheap it was only about twice the cost of other heavy duty chairs I have bought (both short and tall ones), none of which lasted more than about half a season before breaking part of the frame or tearing out the fabric someplace critical. And this chair is way lighter and thus easier to carry and simple to set up. I expect this to last a couple years/half a dozen seasons of soccer and baseball, instead of half a season and then relegated to the trash. If asked if I would buy it again, I would have to say that as sturdy as this is I do not expect to need to buy another one for the foreseeable future. But if I did I would gladly buy it again. Best folding camp/spectator/picnic chair I personally have ever sat in and/or owned. Until I bought this I would never have believed such a lightweight chair would be sturdy enough to bear my weight and my level of activity getting into and out of this chair several times an hour without the chair giving out the slightest groan. The only creaks, cracks, or groans come from my knees or my back, not this chair.

Best outdoor chairs
I’m an artist, and I bought these chairs when doing outdoor festivals. They are very comfortable and surprisingly sturdy. They are lightweight and easy to carry. I especially like the tray and the storage options.I wish the carrying case was of better quality. My zipper broke on the first use.

10/10 Stars!!!
I purchased this chair to upgrade an older makeup chair I had. I was concerned with sturdiness, portability, height and having a side table. This chair hit every nail on the head. I’m a 5’7” makeup artist who wanted a chair that put my clients RIGHT in my face so I wouldn’t have to bend over and strain my back. This height is perfect! Since upgrading, all my plus size clients are concerned with the stability until they sit down-It’s quite sturdy. And comfortable considering each client sits in it for 35-45 min. It’s light enough to carry with no issue from wedding to wedding and the side table locks in place making it a perfect addition to this already awesome chair. I’m definitely gonna buy another one to keep in the car! 10/10 stars! For this and more MUA friendly recommendations for all budgets and styles, click on my profile to shop my store!

Great value and quality! Look no further MUA!🤩
I’m a professional hairstylist and master level MUA. I have been in search of a great quality chair without breaking the bank and I found it!I’m 5’6” and 3/4 (lol i always add that last one!) this is perfect height for anyone probably 5’0” and taller. The tray table folds down and doesn’t have to be left up, there are 4 or 5 storage pockets on the left side of the chair. Also there is a cup holder on the tray too.I like the mesh sling underneath because really almost anything can go here to help clear up some clutter while you work on your guest. When I sat down in the chair, it felt very sturdy and I didn’t feel like I was sitting in a wooden directors chair. Those are prettier but they are not long lasting or practical for freelance (traveling MUA).It was a little hard for me to rest my feet on the foot bar, I kind of kept sliding on the fabric. But I had leggings on too.ANYWAYS, I have nothing negative at all to say about this great directors/MUA chair.

Awesome
I use a Tall Directors chair as a face painter so I can stand to paint and have the kids higher up, to avoid bending all day. My previous was Earths Best brand i believe, but this one seems to be lighter. It has a carrying bag which is actually great because carrying a huge chair, along with other rolling case, bag, equipment etc, to and from event locations can be very awkward and heavy. With the bag and big straps I can easily carry it over my shoulder. One thing I wish was different is that the metal fold down 'footrest' bar is very shiny and smooth, it would be nice if it had some grip/texture to help avoid slipping for those who need to use it as a step up into chair, or down. Super glad I chose this one, I looked at a lot of them.

Sturdy, looks professional, extremely easy to set up. Exceeded my expectations!
I am a music director. I stand to direct, and need to have my face and hands at standing height. When first my back and then my knee started having trouble with long hours of standing, I bought this chair. I needed to sit up straight, not slumped back as most 'camp' chairs have you sit, and this chair supports that. I weigh 250 and this wide, sturdy chair is comfortable and secure. It sets up and folds up literally in seconds, and the carrying case with shoulder strap is a lifesaver when I'm also carrying music, instruments, etc. Yes, it is long and wide (though flat) when folded, and barely fits in my small trunk - take note of the folded dimensions - but completely worth it, as I can now continue to direct and make music.
