Cheap, effective, simple to install. What's not to like. I only needed one to raise the lid of a toybox I'd made - it does the job really well, and is nicely matched to the weight of the lid, meaning it's easy to open and the lid will hold its position wherever you leave it. It does impose a maximum limit on how far the box will open and positioning of the hing is critical - also make sure you've got enough clearance inside the think you're wanting to lift for when it's folded closed. None of these are design problems with the hinge itself.

Article worked well after careful deciphering of the instruction which were in Chinese, Drawings, interpreted carefully, allowed the correct fitting ... second time around - hence four stars not five.

Feels like a good build quality, but the instructions that have come with it are in chinese (possibly another language but impossible to tell)

We used them to hold open an oak lid on an oak cabinet they also assist opening the lid

The product was delivered rusty.I Won't use it.

Product works as described. A little tricky to install but works once you figure it out.

Wir haben eine Kiste aus Robinienholz für Gartenkissen mit diesen Gasdruckfedern nachgerüstet, weil wir es leid waren, immer mit einer Hand den Deckel aufzuhalten, wenn der Kiste etwas entnommen werden soll. Das ist jetzt 3 Jahre her, die Kiste steht draußen, allerdings überdacht. Die Entscheidung, die Kiste mit diesen Federn nachzurüsten, bereuen wir keine Minute, die Federn tun ihren Dienst wie es soll, kein Rost, kein Nachlassen des Gasdrucks. Wir sind so zufrieden, dass wir jetzt noch 2 weitere Kisten nachrüsten mit diesen Gasdruckfedern.

Utilisé pour supporter un couvercle de coffre à jouets pour enfant. Couvercle en hêtre de 400 x 800mm. Après avoir lu les commentaires je pensais que deux seraient nécessaires. Après installation du premier, j'ai vérifié le fonctionnement et un seul est suffisant.Le seul défaut n'est pas le composant lui-même mais la notice intégralement en chinois. Merci a ma femme qui est chinoise d'avoir fait la traduction.
