Pure Skin Care

This book presents the basics of natural skin care with Stephanie Tourles’ lovely writing style and a whole lot of useful recipes and beautiful photos. It’s so hard to find books on this topic that are a pleasure to read, and Stephanie always delivers. Be warned, however, that this book is lifted straight out of Stephanie's "Organic Body Care Recipes," right down to the exact words and recipe titles. The only difference is that she omitted all of the soybean oil and lanolin for this rendition, and the Body Care book has a handful more recipes. This version is much more visually appealing, if that's important to you.

This book is absolutely fantastic. It’s very aesthetically pleasing, and the recipes are wonderful! I’ve made a number of things since receiving the book just a week ago, and everything’s improved my skin significantly! I love this book so much, I have placed an order for more of her books! I put 2 and 2 together and realized that I had read her raw book about 5 years ago, and I loved it! It was from the library, but now I’ll be ordering it. I trust this lady, she seems to know what she’s talking about (coming from a RN and Massage Therapist). I saw another review where the reviewer stated that you can find all of this information online and that this book is a rip off. I highly disagree. Stephanie explains the science behind her recipes, there’s tons of solid and thorough information, and the recipes themselves are quite original! Yes some of the recipes you can find very similar stuff online, but more of them are unique than not!

Full color pictures and easy to follow recipes, can wait to try making some.

Great read. This book is a good way to learn and try skincare at home

I do enjoy reading this book. I gave 3 stars not because book was difficult or lacking anything it promises but I was looking for book with more basic oil use. I'm new to using oils so can only afford a few items.

The book is well organized with a great introduction of habits for a vibrant skin, skin types, tools and containers, basic techniques, additional resources, and recipes recommended for each skin type. I've read many books about natural skin care and very few are as detailed as this one. The quality of the book is great with beautiful photos. I loved it so much that I got a few more copies for my friends.

I love this author and have two of her other books. This book is excellent, unfortunately most of the recipes are already in her first book on organic body care recipes. If you already own that one, this book is a waste of your money. However, the binding makes it easier to keep this book open, so if you’re trying to decide which one to buy, the new one is more convenient.

Great recipes for my natural skin care routine.

Esta lleno de recetas y mascarillas faciales buenas!

Beautiful book, well designed, easy to follow, full of pictures, stong cover, spiral bound pages.

This is the ultimate guide to making your own cosmetics. A nice product. This recipe book contains many recipes from the author's first book.

I learn many new things.

Excellent
