I bought this SIX foot flag pole on the basis it was going to be tangle free. It is NOT! The pole is assembled in two parts; the top half and the bottom half. The top half (3ft) rotates completely and facilitates a tangle free flag. BUT, the bottom half (3Ft) is FIXED and doe snot rotate. To compound issues, the bottom flag attachment is also FIXED and does not rotate. Therefore, when you fix your flag at the top, the top rotates nicely but a 3x5 flag comes below rotating top half and because the fixing is FIXED the bottom DOES NOT rotate. I ended up buying a rotating fixing for the bottom of this flag pole which works well. But, if you have a standard 3x5 flag it is NOT tangle free because th bottom half of the pole AND the bottom fixing are both FIXED and do NOT rotate.

I loved it for the three weeks that it lasted. As soon as just a *few* inches of melting snow (not ice) slid off the roof and hit the pole, it broke. :(ETA: Bums me out that this company has not reached out to me at all. I specifically chose this pole over others since it was made in the USA. Very disappointing.

I was so sick of my flag getting wrapped around my flagpole, that I was ready to just take it down altogether. All of the other poles that I had looked at were pretty much the same, they said tangle free, but just had clips attached to swiveling plastic washer type brackets. I ended up finding this one and it works just as described, the whole top of the pole swivels, so the top and bottom of the flag are on the same plane at all times. This keeps it from getting wrapped around itself, and really does work. I've had it up for the weekend now, and had some pretty good winds, and it still hangs properly.The pole is high quality aluminum, but the ball at the end is plastic, and it does have a lot of plastic parts. We'll have to see how long it lasts, but if I get a couple of years out of it, for the money, I'd be happy and just buy another one. That said, I would gladly pay more for a higher quality flag pole with all or mostly metal parts that will last a long time.

The flagpole seems nice but I can't use it because the plastic ring that attaches the lower flag grommet to the flagpole is missing. It's a cheap little part but necessary to hold the flag. I've contacted the seller for a replacement part three times and Amazon once, but nobody gives me the courtesy of a reply. This is no way to do business!

These flag poles are great. Perfect size for a 1 inch pole bracket. Very sturdy aluminum, with the upper part spinning free so your flag doesn't become tangled. Sure, on occasion my flags gets tangled, but that's usually on the edge of the roof line or the gutter and not because of the pole. Decent price, quick shipping and excellent customer service. I would do business with Jetifee again.

I have bought this product before from a different Co. It does not last for ever lol only the aluminum pole will. First the gold knob will fade in a few years.. In my case the plastic that screws both aluminum poles together cracked.If you fly your flag outdoors daily. It should work great for about 6 years. 99 % tangle free my flag on this new pole tangled up until a wind gust came by. I have a photo to prove it.I still like the product because I know nothing last for ever.

I really hoped this flag pole was different from all the others. I also sincerely hope that a veteran is getting something from the sales, and is not just being used by the Chinese company that makes these poles. The aluminum is lightweight, but should be enough to handle the load of a flag in the wind. The rotating part of the pole DOES keep the flag from getting wound up. Unfortunately, mine only lasted 6 weeks before the plastic threaded fitting between the two halves of the pole went to pieces, dumping my flag on the ground. We don't live in a particularly windy part of the country, and while it was breezy last night, it was NOT a gale of any kind.I salvaged what was left and drilled holes for screws to try and hold the two halves of the pole together. Hopefully it will hold long enough to find a decent replacement.

This is a great idea. I'm President of the Sun City Lincoln Hills Veterans group and once a month we sell flags to the folks who are residents of Sun City in Lincoln California. We do not make a profit but just want to provide the service. We also sell the clamps that are supposed to keep the flags from furling. Does not work. Bought one for me and my girlfriend who always complained about this problem. Now I'm her hero as I solved the flag getting furled.
