Good replacement

The original pruning blade on my Fiskars pole pruner snapped off. I bought this replacement kit which includes a new blade, return spring, and coupling link. The instruction sheet consists only of little "pictographs" of the replacement process AND the sheet covers almost every Fiskars pruning devices known to man. Whoever made up the instructions thought a couple of little pictures of dotted lines and swirling curves would be sufficient to tell you that you must re-wrap the fabric tape that actually does all of the pulling of the blade back around the pulley inside the head if you want the device to work again. It took me several tries at getting that correct before I was able to make it work again. A few words in the appropriate language would make the process much, much easier.The quality of the hardware in the package is actually quite good. You just have to figure out how to install it.

I wish there was a way to just get a bag of chain links. The blade, and the spring were not needed. The chain link keeps flying off of this pruner., and when they do, they disappear in the foliage.

This was an excellent replacement kit containing new moveable blade, spring, and silver chain link. I was able to rebuild my pole lopper for $55 instead of having to replace the whole tool for $140.

The blade of my loppers had broken after around 20 years service. After researching the price of replacement loppers online I rescued my broken loppers from the pile destined for the tip and decided they must be fixable. Although not the same brand as mine the fiskars blade looked identical and worked a treat. Even with delivery from the US it saved me £s. Amazon.com delivery prompt as usual. Would recommend to anyone looking to save money and the amount of stuff going to landfill.
