Really cool! My son wanted a dinosaur night light, and I found this and tried it out. It's kind of like a cross between a lamp and a nightlight. It plugs in more like a lamp, but is more like the brightness of a nightlight. But colorful, and cool. The only downside is the packaging isn't exciting. By that I mean, I bought it as a Christmas present, but I realized when I got it that when he unwrapped it he wouldn't know what it was, which makes it a boring Christmas gift. I ended up giving it to him a couple weeks later when he lost his first tooth. He kept trying to take it to bed with him. It's kind of bright to put on the bed next to your face, so I made him leave it on the nightstand. The remote is awesome, because there are so many options of colors and color fades, and blinking, etc. It is hard for him to get it to work from a distance though, because he keeps trying to point it at the dinosaur and not the small black base it sits on.

I bought this for my 9 year old nephew because he's obsessed with dinosaurs. I decided to open the box and get it ready for him because the box was a little unimpressive and I didn't want him to be underwhelmed. I'm so glad I did because the product is AWESOME!!!!! So only 1 dinosaur is viewable at a time, which is no big deal. The remote control offers a wide range of colors, flashing and diming options which you'll need 2 AAA batteries to operate. There is a USB cord that can be powered via any type of connection or you can insert 3 AA batteries in the base, which I did. There's also a on/off button on the base which you need to old down for two second to turn off, otherwise the devise will stay on flashing different colors. I felt that by setting it up first would help add to the excitement for when he opened it up and I'm so glad I did. You can go wrong w/this item.

Update: The seller reached out with a replacement product. We received the replacement promptly. So far the light is working perfectly! I am pleased with the quick response from the seller and their willingness to make things right. I will update this review again if the light stops working again.The nightlight was awesome for the first few nights of use. My 5 year old loved it and loved that it had a remote that he could change the colors on his own. However, after a few nights the light started just sporadically changing colors on it's own. It would turn off randomly and then turn back on randomly. We didn't know if my son was doing it himself with the remote without realizing it so I set it up in my room where I could watch it and sure enough the light had a mind of it's own. Very disappointed.

Update: The customer service reached out and addressed the issues and sent a replacement. My son was so excited to get his dino light back!Original: My son loved this light and has used it every night since I bought it. Unfortunately, the plug and cord got finicky and when I tried to adjust it, the internal plug broke. Lasted 8 months. And it's not like it as played with. It was kept up on a shelf. Disappointed that I now have to get a new nightlight for my son but he truly did love this one. Hence the 3 stars..

My great grand daughter lives across country and loves dinosaurs. I thought this might just be something she would like. Her mother says she loves it. She really likes the remote and enjoys changing colors. it looks real small in pictures but her mother says it is perfect for her. What I did not know was the day I ordered it she was at a museum visiting dinosaurs. This arrived the next day and she was thrilled. I would recommend this as a great gift for dinosaur lovers.

We love this little lamp, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the base broke and I had to order a replacement. It wasn't handled roughly or anything, just picking it up broke it. Hoping I don't have the same issue with my replacement but will update my review if I do.Editing to add that the new one is working great, and the seller even reached out to me to apologize and make sure the new one worked. I am very happy with my experience! And my son loves this light!

Got this for my nephew who loves dinosaurs, and the remote barely works, very chintzy remote. I figured the colors would be much more vibrant as the pictures but they are not. Thankfully he still loves it because he’s three lol!!

I actually got this for my boyfriend's 31st birthday as one of his small gifts and even he loves it. It can be plugged in or ran off of batteries, so it can be placed anywhere. It has a lot of cool features on the remote and it can be set between 15 different colors or there are several options to fade between them all. Definitely a great buy for the price and would make an excellent gift for anyone of any age who likes dinosaurs or cool lamps in general.
