How are these best mounted to a wall?

Would these work for a bedroom with concrete walls between neighbors.I can hear them through my wall

That’s conducted sound, not reflected sound. The fraction of the wall area covered will be (much) less efficient launching the conducted sound, but if you only cover 1/2 of the wall area the sound reduction will be unimpressive. A sound absorbing apartment wall has 2 sets of studs, a stud only touches one of the wall faces, not both. The cavity is filled with fiberglass to absorb sound. The wall faces often use 2 layers of 1/2” gypsum wall board instead of one, 3/4” and 1” wall board are also made for this purpose and cheaper to install than 2 layers with staggered seams. To block the sound coming though a concrete block or cast concrete wall, there’s already lots of mass, a single layer face is good. A single sided faux wall 2 x 3 studs on 16” centers standing 1/4” gap from the concrete wall, fill the cavities with fiberglass, face can be as thin as 3/8”

Room is 21 x 25 feet w/ 20' peaked ceiling. walls are 9"tall. how many of what size, all white panels, how far apart do i need?

Good Morning, Based on the size of this space, I recommend installing 160 sq feet of acoustic paneling. If you were to choose our staggered wall pack, you would need (5) packages. However, the size of the panels is not crucial. The most important factor is getting the 160 Sq Feet installed in the space. Additionally, the exact positioning is not crucial. I recommend spreading the panels out as much as possible to achieve the best result. -Eric
