I really enjoy these patterns. I like the varieties that are given as well as the variations in each. The patterns are classic in design so, they won't be out of style in a year or so. I have a library of out dated patterns that was given. I have tried to bring them into classics. On line I've discovered patterns that are classics from early 18 & 19th centuries. This book is a fantastic edition for any library. I really like that the sizes are for the actual sizes of a child and not the sizes found in retail.

Very good book with a variety of sizes and styles -- easy to more detailed. Something for everyone with small children!

Haven't done anything in it yet, but the designs are cute.

Confusing directions. But nice patterns

All good patterns in this book. Next to the Debbie Bliss Kids books of knits, Ithink this one is a good one and a keeper.

It is not what I expected.

There are some major mistakes in some of the patterns in this book. It could be problems with translation but include giving instructions for only side of a raglan sleeve and it doesn't use terms which are generally accepted in all knitting patterns which means you have to read well ahead and work very hard to establish where the pattern is taking you. Not recommended.

Das Buch hat über 40 Strickmuster für Kinder von 0-24 Monaten und von 2-10 Jahren mit einem breiten Spektrum von Jacken, Cardigans, Pullis, Schals, Mützen, Fäustlingen, Kleidern, Socken und für die ganz Kleinen auch Hosen und ein Taufkleidchen.Die Bilder sind liebevoll ausgewählt und zeigen trotz der Lebendigkeit mancher kleinen Models die Strickstücke in einem sinnvollem Ausmaß.Die Muster haben, wie im englischsprachigen Raum üblich, Erklärungen im Wortlaut und nur selten per Strickschrift. Zudem gibt es Tipps für kleine Abänderungen. Zum Schluß werden auch die üblichen Strick- und Häkeltechniken erklärt.Die Muster sind nicht allzu schwer und trotzdem nicht eintönig, demnach auch für Strickerinnen mit mittlerer Strickfähigkeit geeignet. Häufig findet man ja doch nur Muster für Anfänger oder für Hardmode-Strickerinnen, hier ist endlich ein Buch für die, deren Zeitaufwand und Strickfähigkeiten sich zwischen den vorher genannten Extremen befindet.
