It's not overly bright but lights up the room in an illumination that seems futuristic. It uses a space otherwise never used and I love the long cord. The placement of the switch could be a foot or 2 up t he wire but it works great for my kids room so no complaints there. It was easy to install and my kids love it.

Extremely easy to install, but in my opinion it's absolutely not worth the price. I could have very easily fashioned this light with a simple frame and a light kit. Also not at all happy with how little light it allows out because of the frosted plastic. I put in the exact bulb from our old lamp which lit the entire room and it's barely enough to read by. In the picture I put a star lamp I have next to it for visual purposes and that lamp uses a bright night light bulb. Now I have to spend more money to replace the frosted cover with something else. I would be returning it but sadly my toddler decided the box was a toy and ripped it. So I'm stuck with it and out $60.

Obvious out of the way, this product is ridiculously overpriced for what you receive. The company's ROI on this product must be outrageous. This product is not for everyone. It is best suited for maximizing floor space when installing a ceiling light is not an option. It is also very easy to install. There are many cons to consider, but this is a purpose built product. If it fits your purpose, there aren't many other options out there and I would still recommend it. Just know that you're going to be spending additional money to make it look good and for the light bulbs. Cons: -Very overpriced -The high price should have included a method to stop light leaks out of the side of the fixture. -The toggle on/off switch is near the plugin, which makes very little sense to me. -You will need to spend additional money to buy cable management channels to make this look good after installing. -The cord fabric will not only be unsightly, but gather an incredible amount of dust without proper cable channel management. Tips: -If possible, install so the top is several inches below the ceiling. The plastic cover is fairly opaque. The gap allows the light to bounce off the ceiling and illuminate the room. -Install color changing light bulbs, and their respective control app, for customization. Overall: Still worth 4 stars if it fits your needs.

I was expecting something way brighter than this. Have a 60 w LED bulb of 1600 lumens. 100% agree with Yayati Thakur's review on Feb 26, 2020. My boyfriend couldn't believe how much this cost for the 1. look and 2. brightness. It also looks just like the picture Thakur posted. not a great look, reminds me of a hospital room.... Installing was a bit frustrating, although it does come with all the parts you need, it is not as easy as it appears.

These are really neat looking, space saver and good ambient light with the frosted cover. Remember to mount a few inches from ceiling to get the light to throw onto ceiling and dissipate heat. Paired this up with a wireless remote and bright led bulb that was under the rec wattage. Also used some corner cable channels with 3m double sided, looks clean.

Love the concept, looks very Sci-fi esque. Cord is positioned at a good distance from outlet - I could plug it in near my bed and control light from bedside table. Installation was easy. CONS Even with a 4000w LED bulb, this barely illuminated a 120 sq ft room; The diffusion triangle is too thick.
