Wide angle lenses will vignette if you try to use all 50 Megapixels.
I use this with my TS-e lenses with no vignetting. It works really well with my 85mm f1.2L lens too and the software in the camera allows you to lighten the slight darkening. You have the option on the camera to use 35mm format so there's no vignetting at all then but you only use about 30 megapixels rather than the cameras full 50.

JUST ERRORS ON MY GFX 50S II
My Viltrox EF-GFX adapter does not work. It shows 'lens error' on the GFX 50S II.

Amazon - Why are none of the other reviews for the correct item. This is the Viltrox EF-GFX item, but all the reviews are for the EF-EF-M adpater.My Viltrox EF-GFX adapter does not work. It shows 'lens error' on the GFX, and when I tried to update the firmware, the device is not recognised in file explorer (instructions say it will appear as Adapter FX'. I tried three different USB cables but it will not appear, so I cannot check or update the version of firmware.

Works, but ...
Appreciate mechanical functions - matches the lens very well. However none of the lenses trying to use with GFX100S work smoothly electronically - harsh focusing scanning through the entire range, ... (Tamron 90/2.8, EF 300/4L (non-IS), EF 70-200/2.8L IS, EF 50/1.4). Was able to use (sort of) only the 50/1.4 while aimed much more toward the 300/4L. Had and experience with Steetsring adaptor for Nikon E, and it worked flawlessly.

L'accessorio funziona bene, purché gli obiettivi non siano vecchissimi. Però vanno provati uno per uno, per vedere se coprono tutto il formato della Fuji, che è più grande del 24x36; per esempio: il 40 f2,8 stm copre tutto il formato (bisogna chiudere almeno un diaframma, perché i bordi estremi vadano bene), mentre il tele 85 f1,8 non lo copre e oscura gli angoli. Ma si può usare anche in questo caso, impostando sulla Fuji il formato 24x36 anziché il proprio 33x44.

In full sun it has light leaks
In full sun it shows light leaks. Tested it with different lenses with the same result. The effect is minor. The adapter feels kinda flimsy. AF is a bit iffy, so I mainly use MF..But it does set the aperature correctly so that's good.

Totale Katastrophe
habe versucht mein Canon EF 85mm /1,4L IS USM zu adaptieren. Die Blende geht ständig im intervall auf und leicht zu obwohl man keine Taste drückt. Also flackert dann das Sucherbild auch immer hell/dunkel, fürchterlich! Ich hatte schon Angst dass der Adapter das Objektiv ruiniert. Der IBIS meiner Fuji GFX 100 geht auch nicht mit in Verbindung mit Objektiven ohne Stabi. Schließlich habe ich das Ding ganz schnell zurückgeschickt.Ich wollte vielleicht noch den Techart Adapter probieren, mal sehen ob der besser ist... :(
