These work just as described. REMEMBER you can only have one bulb in each lamp. I have lamps outside my home with three sockets only one of these bulbs is needed and you can leave the rest empty, then leave your light switch on. If you put another bulb in the same unit they will not work as they will 'cancel' each other out. Reading some of the reviews I notice some say these do not work, well looking at the reasons this seems to be the main one. Some people are not reading the description and instructions properly. I cannot comment on efficiency as I have only just installed them but this will be handy for me as it saves me remembering to put my lights on and most of all if I am out of town they will automatically come on. I chose white and they are surprisingly bright you cannot tell the difference between these bulbs and a regular bulb. These are well worth the money and I am extremely pleased with them.

Works as described

Not for Christmas candles. I gave this a 5 star review, although I had to return them. They were fine bulbs and the customer service in returning them was great. I just bought the wrong bulbs. I missed the significance of the comment that said "some customers report the bulbs don't work with multiple bulbs." We had six candles in a large window area that had worked well with the old bulbs that had stopped working after years of use. These bulbs don't work at all in such a set up. They are much brighter than the old bulbs. When one of these bulbs comes on, the light from it turns any nearby bulb to turn off or flicker. These bulbs are for light, not decoration.

I love this product where I replaced my regular light bulbs with these for my front porch. The light automatically turns on when its dark outside and turns off when there is enough sunlight in the morning. I don't have to manually turn on and off the porch light anymore. Given it is just 6W each, it shouldn't impact my electricity bill much. I am pleasantly surprised at how bright each of these 6W light bulbs give out. Do go with the warm as it is much easier on the light than the bright white lights. The only drawback of these auto-sensing lightbulb is that it won't work for fixtures with two or more lightbulbs in them. Luckily for me, only one of the two lightbulb lights up. Since I have two light fixtures about 6 feet apart, I was able to get one of the lightbulbs in each of the fixtures to light up. Good enough for me. My lights are brighter than my neighbors and I never have to worry about turning them on or off. Great idea especially when we are not home.

Economical and consistently good product for my outdoor lights.

What a daylight bulb! It’s very good, bright and works from dusk till dawn. Just 3 light bulbs consuming only 6w with an output of 65w each👍

Didn't work as you described. I just wasted my money.

I replaced a few old and tired LED bulbs that were on their way out after 3+ years. Some had dimmed, some burned out. I have 4 coach style lamps that take 3 bulbs each on a 2 car garage with shop behind my home. When I placed these in the lamps - I rather forgot them until morning. When I got up at 0500 my entire back of my house / yard was LIT UP! I was AMAZED at the brightness and overall light that they put out. Needless to say I am VERY happy with the purchase.
