I bought this to dispose of some autoinjector pens that I use weekly, and it's the perfect size for that. The pens just fit into the sharps container when they're standing upright, and it's a lot more secure than repurposing other containers for this purpose. Not really much more to say about this, but it's a good value for what it is.

I purchased this Sharps Container by Unimed-Midwest for home use. My wife takes a medication every week that is given via injection. She needed a safe place do dispose of the needles. I am a newly diagnosed Diabetic who has to take my blood sugar twice per day. I needed a safe place to put my lancets. So we decided to purchase a sharps container. Pros: It's brightly colored for easy spotting and clearly delineates that there is bio hazard inside with a sticker on the side. It's small so it doesn't take up a lot of room wherever you store it. It keeps all sharps securely inside the container. Nothing is going to fall out of this. Cons: The flap on the top of the container where the sharps are dropped inside was quite hard to get open the first time. This might be a problem for people with arthritis and/or hand injures. If you can't open it you can't use it. Due to it's small size this container would be better suited for just one person's sharps. It fills up quickly otherwise. Overall, I liked the product. I'm glad that I now have a safe place to dispose of my sharps. I paid full price for this item. I did not receive this product through a promotion.

Perfect for sewing sharps. I keep it close to put bent pins and broken needles in. I quilt so worn out cutting blades also go in.

Probably not the typical use for these, but I wanted something that I could throw my used razors into. The tiny razor blade disposal things seemed overpriced, small, and weren't labeled as biohazered correctly for my area. This item is cheap and does its job well. It will probably last me forever lol.

It does what it's supposed to do - hold used needle objects. It was a bit smaller than I anticipated, so next purchase will be a larger container - but the product is well made and it was inexpensive.

Just the right size for insulin syringes (the 1mL cc ones). I find the lid easy to open and snap shut between uses. And it is easy to securely close once it is full and ready to be disposed of. I've purchased this one twice and plan to keep buying it as needed.
